Guilty people wouldn't keep themselves in the public eye for so long. Wealthy doctors (and they're both doctors) wouldn't risk jail, loss of their status and family and reputation and the total hatred of the entire world by doing such a pointless thing.

The money motive is just ridiculous. They weren't poor. They would have retired as millionaires just by their earnings as doctors over the years. I don't buy that these people are guilty for a second. I find it disgusting that so many loons do.

KM States action taken against GA is due to 'damage done to Madeleine'. However, neither have admitted the damage THEY themselves did with their useless 'series of checks'. Can you imagine the uproar, if a lower-class set of parents left their children in a caravan & whilst boozing in the caravan site club, their child was snatched? Dzoodi, why do you think the book was so successful? Why are so many people keen to read it? If the McCanns were truly convincing this book would fade away, dismissed as the workings of a crazed mind, but it hasn't. Take a step back and try to look at things in an unbiased way, try to see what so many other people see and ask yourself why?
