i seen a hummer h3 in england and it seems every new generation of the hummer gets more soft and loosing sight of what hummer is ment to be the only hummer is the h1.
@marklewin8 a jeep wrangler with a small lift could probably do that. i currently have a 02 wrangler with a 4" lift and it can do almost anything. it could go places an h1 cant because an h1 is massive while a wrangler is small. however when this wrangler starts giving my engine problems, i plan for my next vehicle to be an h1. i love all off road vehicles, and h1s and jeep wranglers (older models) are by far my favorites.

I had a 99 Jeep wrangler custom built in New York for off-roading competitions..Everything you needed to drive across africa lol. Sure muddings fun but nothing like rock climbing and trail riding. dicthes, hills, creeks, etc. Nice vid.

I know what you mean, hummers seem to have very very little wheel articulation, but they make up for it with the great lockers. Compare to a Landy for example, great articulation but only with a centre locker.
Really? I have a 99 tj with 8" of long arm lift, 35x12.50 m/t baja MTZs, lockers, and a winch that will go where you couldn't drag a humvee. As cool as they are, they're absolute shit on the trail. They were designed for durability and hauling in desert and swamp terrain, and that's what they're good at. The reason videos like this look so impressive is that they have to work so hard to dramatically conquer the same obstacles we kill every weekend on the farms and trails we wheel.
Also, I personally saw a hummer get absolutely molested by my buddy's xj cherokee with 33s and stock axles on some rocky hills at a wheeling get-together in Ohio last year, after which I had to pull the poor guy out of the mudhole he was stuck in and loan him my chainsaw so he could widen the trail to a freeway. He gave up and headed back to town about 2 hours in.

well.. in my country we count out money in Shekels so the Hummer costs 400,000 Shekels and 1$ its about 3.8-4 Shekels.. do the math :D about 100$k

I had a 99 Jeep wrangler custom built in New York for off-roading competitions..Everything you needed to drive across africa lol. Sure muddings fun but nothing like rock climbing and trail riding. dicthes, hills, creeks, etc. Nice vid.

@eightbit3055 lmfao, its not a normal 6.5 chevy, everythings almost the same, but different, so much in fact that the starter motor on a 6.5 hummer costs $1,800 from kragen.

@petthekittyz The 6.5, 6.7, and 6.6, even the 6.2 are all GM standard diesel engine's. And yes everything for the engine is the same. Also what the heck is kragen. I can find starter motors starting at $212.

@richiefrickenrich It's like any diesel 4X4 with 100K miles on them. There always will have to be things you gonna have to fix. And fixing the power-train on these cost as much as fixing the power-train on any other diesel 4X4.

every time i see a hummer off ..i mean trying to off road they always have 3 wheels on the ground...not 4...3,if they didnt have diff lock,they would be the worst design.

I know what you mean, hummers seem to have very very little wheel articulation, but they make up for it with the great lockers. Compare to a Landy for example, great articulation but only with a centre locker.

Really? I have a 99 tj with 8" of long arm lift, 35x12.50 m/t baja MTZs, lockers, and a winch that will go where you couldn't drag a humvee. As cool as they are, they're absolute shit on the trail. They were designed for durability and hauling in desert and swamp terrain, and that's what they're good at. The reason videos like this look so impressive is that they have to work so hard to dramatically conquer the same obstacles we kill every weekend on the farms and trails we wheel.

Also, I personally saw a hummer get absolutely molested by my buddy's xj cherokee with 33s and stock axles on some rocky hills at a wheeling get-together in Ohio last year, after which I had to pull the poor guy out of the mudhole he was stuck in and loan him my chainsaw so he could widen the trail to a freeway. He gave up and headed back to town about 2 hours in.

i owned jeeps , chevies , ford explorers and H2 hummer, i live in desert and i take them offroad now and then
just recently i bought H1 hummer , and there REALLY IS NOTHING LIKE THE H1.
its the best offroad performance EVER!!!

@drzipperhead Toyotas, 350s put out tons of torque, I know a guy who's put 10K into his yota, 40" swampers, lifted, cut out fenders, air lockers front and rear and I've still seen him get bogged down in mud, simply because he's running an old carbed 4 cyl with just an exhaust.
