Excalibur sonic is basically a medieval version of super sonic. He's cool, but he's got nothing on super sonic in my opinion. As for Excalibur itself, the line should be "That's the second greatest of the sacred swords". Excalibur is nothing compared to the Master Sword. Imagine if sonic could wield the Master Sword, along with the Triforce :)

I'm sorry, but this is annoying the hell out of me. People keep comparing this form to Super Sonic. He is obviously NOT going to change colour in this form, since he's not using the chaos emeralds, why can't you understand that? Sure the cape's a little weird, but this is the best Sonic transformation video yet. Sonic and the Secret Rings was an epic let down... Seeing this at the end got me replaying the game at least 50 times. Then I realised you could watch it in the gallery thing ^^'
