Yeah yeah.. 'management'. That's a nice word for growing fat off mineral revenue. Russia is just as developed as an Arabian oil state, and has much less state control over the economy. And Gazprom has not been investing enough into developing the oil infrastructure to honour the supply agreements it has committed itself to for the future. And without oil and gas, Russia has no meaningful foreign policy tools, except its nuclear arsenal.

they do, and i agree that these claims must be honored without question. however, you were not aware of what I was responding to. the response was to the fact that all conflicts in the middle east are for israel's sake--which they're not. the 'holy land' statement was used by the previous poster in a fanatical sense to justify all such conflicts on behalf of israel and some sort of 'manifest destiny' ideology. one extreme does not vindicate the other. do you agree?
