Uh we have, had software updates, in fact alot. Like 3.1.2 and 3.1.3, and we saw 3.2 at the January 27 event, oh and why do you need both versions of the iPod touch? They're like exactly the same except for minor hardware and software improvements.
flash would be nice, but apple is waaaaaayyyyyy too greedy to put flash on. What do i mean? They don't want you to be able to play flash games on an ipod touch or iphone cuz they just want to make money from the appstore.
Multitasking takes lots of battery juice, which Apple is most likely afraid of. Since the battery is already weak, it would be a killer. I would really love multitasking though.
I wouldn't want a ebook store. The screen is far too small and awkward.

Only thing I can think of is Camtasia. I am not really familiar with Windows any longer, but I used Camtasia during my 1st videos! No HD with Camtasia though.
