That's some of the best sound I have heard in years. I am a transsexual singer/musician/songwirter also. You should see the looks on peoples faces when I am doing a solo acoustic gig and singing covers and I do "Close My Eyes Forever" by Lita with Ozzy. The double takes are hilarious! lol I love almost anything 80's. Journey is my favorite, but I love all of the good heavy metal from back in the day when people worked on their music before they started giving their pit bull the microphone. lol
if you ever want to start up again hit me up I'm a drummer! female we r close in age an I just love to jam I'll play whatever u throw at me I'll find a cool beat for it :D
That was good music! Are you guys still writing and performing? I hope so. I'm in the same boat and am coming up against a lot of haters who just want me to die. It's interesting how it seems to be affecting me less and less. I hope you never give up on the music.
@Robbi165 - After I turned 44 (in 2002) I left Glamazon. We'd performed and recorded for seven years and it was time for me to move on to finishing my transition and returning to writing. Someday I shall get back to music, but for now it's mostly for my own ear.
When Glamazon started out in 1995 we were the only *performing* transsexual-fronted Heavy Metal band I ever heard of. Years later I learned about punk-glam band All the Pretty Horses in Minneapolis, and punk legend Jayne County 15 years earlier, but to my knowledge we were the first to do Metal. And if we'd kept at it, we might have at least been a footnote in the TS rocker history book.
Great music !
