I remember, back in the 90's, you had to pick between a Nintendo 64 or a Playstation.

If you picked the N64, the main game was Super Mario 64; and if you picked a PS, the main game was Crash Bandicoot.

I picked a Playstation with Crash Bandicoot. No regrets.

I think it's unfair to say after naughty dog they became bad. True they definitely were not as good but Wrath of Cortex was pretty good (minus the loading screen) and Twinsaniy was bearable but after that they have really gone downhill.

Crash 1-3> WoC> Twinsanity> every Crash game after.

@suddnstar Actually, the games aren't being made by anyone right now, and even the fan game (Crash Bandicoot Returns) has been put on hold. The Radical Entertainment team that was in charge of Crash were working on a new game and a lot of the fans liked the way it was looking, but Activision fired them and no longer seems interested with the series.

@FuckThePk Alot of times when I was playing Crash Bandicoot I'd see a hole, and I'd jump too soon. Then I'd end up falling in. You just have to have good timing, you can't jump too soon and you can't jump too late. If you jump too late you won't be jumping at all, you'll be falling.

The only Modern Crash game I've ever really played was Titans. I personally enjoyed that game. Spyro, on the other hand, not so much. I've played Eternal Darkness, and from what I'm concerned, it has to be the most gimicky title in the series. The whole element thing was really hard to conserve, being that each element had a limit bar,and the game's enemies are without a doubt incredibly difficult.

Well, I downloaded this, Crash 2, and Crash 3. WOW, just wow, these game are great. These are certainly the Bandicoot's best day. It's odd how much Crash and Spyro have fallen from glory since their PS1 games.

I never played Crash (or Spyro for that matter). I was a Nintendo kid and was playing Super Mario 64, Donkey Kong and Banjo Kazooie. I recently came across CB on the PSN under PSOne Classics and being the platformer addict that I am I bought it instantly. It's really good.

I didn't say it was bad, I used to play this and I loved it, and the low FPS count brings a nostalgic feeling to it.

It weren't from there I learned about the FPS though, it's from a lot of general gaming, then you can practically see how choppy a game is, as long as it's not microstuttering. Anyway, back to your original question; When MW2 came out and took over most of the competiting within CoD, I didn't want to compete any more, as I didn't find MW2 as fun, and even worse with MW3, that's real trash. I'm still as good though, just don't want to compete in a boring game.
