  • Everyone who likes big thunder mountain should listen to the ballad of thunder mountain

  • I am so sad this ride is not gonna be open when I am there in 6 days =( /cry

  • I LOVE thunder mountain! It ia AMAZING! And I LOVE WDW! It is just so special, and magical! It's like a part of me. Disney World is the most happiest place on earth! :D

  • Love the sepia touch of this film. Big Thunder really needs some Ry Cooder sounds to go with this themeing. Maybe the Long Riders or Geronimo soundtracks would add to this. A lot of the real artifacts came from his old haunts.

  • I LOVED THAT RIDE THE MOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • favortie ride next to expdition everest oh my thatnk u disney

  • Disneyparks are about Disney, stories, fun, family, adventure, happiness, and MAGIC!

  • @Disneyparksfreak09 i totally understand what your saying, especially if you have been going to disneyland a lot. but i go to disney world more than disneyland and personally i feel WDW is more magical to me, because of the way i feel when i'm there. so you have a great point, but i think it's more of a preference to which park makes you feel magical, and for me it's WDW.

  • Paris Disneyland Big Thunder is the tallest, fastest, deepest, longest, largest and best themed. See it if you love Big Thunders.

  • @ABOSS302 Agreed. It's amazing. Beginning and end make the whole ride awesome.

  • Love the sepia film touch but would change the soundtrack to reflect a run away train as is Big Thunder. Hope Big Thunder fans will get to ride the one in Paris.

  • i LOVE this ride. they take you through the whole thing, and then they take you through it again, backwards!!! its SO fun!!!

  • I don't like roller coasters but I will be brave enough to get on this... I love Disney World.

  • Why are we aruging over which Disney Park is better. For a lot of people they've only been to one of the parks. Atleast you've been to park. There are so many people who want to go, but simply can't..

  • i love it fast fun packed try tower of terra i love it awsome

  • don't think i've been on that ride before. When was it opened?

  • im not a dude ! im a girl

  • what does WDW Mean????

  • Walt Disney World

  • bonoismybff: Were you joking?

  • Is your question for real? Dude, everybody knows that. Walt Disney World.

  • didn't someone.. get ya know.. badly hurt on this ride in C.A?

  • the one at disneyland is a bit different cause its in the opposite drop direction and it doesnt have that shaky part

  • HORRIBLE Choice of music for this video. They didn't have electric guitar in the old west...

  • One of my favorite rides! I love disney this ride is perfect for kids who have never been on a coaster before its fast and fun without being scary. Great for first time rollercoaster experiences

  • DW is wayyyyyy better! and this is my number 3 fav on my list!!

  • DL is better than WDW. I absolutely love both parks; more than any other park, but Disneyland is the real thing. There would be no WDW without Disneyland. It's smaller, but is the original theme park. Also, there is something that you feel when you are at Disneyland and not at WDW. Magic? The thing I usually don't like the most about MK is Tomorrowland. It doesn't give you a feel that you feel at Disneyland's version. Love both parks, but DL is Walt's true home:)

  • Wow that was a breathtaking speach!!!!

I agree even though some rides are better in the Magic Kingdom all of Walt Disneys footsteps remain inside Disneyland!:)

  • When it is the real thing, when it's got that spirit, you really know it, and you DEFINITELY know it in Disneyland, USA.

  • Finally, a decent argument other than the common "DW is better".

I wouldn't say that WDW is missing Magic, all of the Disney parks are magical. But, DL just has that feeling. There are some attractions that, in my opinion, were enhanced when taken to WDW (ex: The Haunted Mansion), but DL really has some components that Blows away WDW (ex: Frontierland). All in all, I'd say it is a pretty even match, DL has it's roots, WDW has it's size.

  • @Disneyparksfreak09 that's b/c u went to dl first..i havnt been ther yet..but i feel the magic everyy time i go dw

  • @Disneyparksfreak09 Totally agree. Never been to DL, only WDW, but I know the true Disney experience is in California

  • @Disneyparksfreak09 I have to disagree Disney World is bigger and Better than DisneyLand, Disneyland is nice but a little outdated

  • @Disneyparksfreak09 No WDW changes people. Who cares wich one i better its all about one mouse. One mouse that makes us happy. Walt Disney would be proud of the people who don't care how glitz and glammed up it is, its about joy.

  • @Disneyparksfreak09 But don't forget that Walt was disappointed with Disneyland. If he thought Disneyland was everything, he wouldn't have built Disney World. So obviously, he wasn't happy with it. Disneyland has A LOT of limitations due to space. No, I'm not saying Disney World is better. But, some of the things you can do at Disney World, you can't do at Disneyland. On the top of Mickey's Fun Wheel you can see fast food restaurants and other hotels. Is that really magic?

  • @2brothersvideos WOW... I was literally about to respond to Disneyparksfreak09 and say the EXACT SAME THING! Did you read Walt Disney: An American Original by Bob Thomas? There was a lot about that topic in there. Honestly though, I must say I grew up loving Disney World and it'll always be #1 in my book

  • @epihaze Yes, I did! Even though they do say it on Modern Marvels, I think.

  • @Disneyparksfreak09 WDW is way better.

  • @Disneyparksfreak09 Dl is just a rough draft.

  • Because people don't take instructions verry well, or it was just a freak accident

  • im goin here in a week and im definetly goin on this!

  • I LOVE this ride! Whenever we went to disneyland, which was like every week, we would go on this! EEEP! The last car is the funnest in the ride, i think!

  • @Berrypool001 the last car is the best one cause if your in the front it kinda freeses a bit

  • do you mean thunder mountain railrode or disney world?

  • That was a mistake that will probably never happen again. They have fixed the mistake and further advanced the ride since then to make sure that it will never occur again so don't go around saying that because someone might get scared and never experience the magic this ride has.

  • I like disneyworld alot, but i usually settle for disneyland since its the real thing. sure its smaller, but its the original. and walt even used to live there on main street in the fire department

  • they are both real.. and on opposite ends of the country

  • I know theyre both real. Im calling disneyland "they real thing". its a play on words

  • i understand what you are trying to say, but both are just are legit as the other

  • oh okay lol

  • @PaintedLadder kudos to that

  • Ok i love MK's BTM bc thats the only one i've been on so i would say any familys with a small childing going to WDW soon this ride is a great family ride not scary at all it's pretty fun

  • Kudos to Tony Baxter, Vekoma, and all the other people who helped design this amazing attraction. And a double kudos to whoever designed Disneyland Paris's BTM, that one is simply stunning.

  • I beleive the person who made the paris version of the ride was Colin Thompson.

  • i miss disney world i loved this ride!

  • what song is that

  • if anyone rides this who reads this. Ride this in the last car, Last row. Best place to ride this coaster

  • front is the worst!! lmao its true you go so slow in the front. back is the best

  • whoa! that was the wildest ride in the wilderness!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • i only started going on this ride 2 years ago and it is brilliant! some of my mates watched vids of it and said it looked slow, but believe me... it is quite fast and bumby when you're on it! Awesome disney attraction

  • It's the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness! =P

  • What was the song you used in the background? I really liked it. I kept watching it because I wanted to keep listening to the song.

  • O yea and WDW is #1 in Disney Theme Park attendance

  • Great, WDW has higher attendance. That doesn't mean it's better, certainly doesn't mean it has a magical quality to it. It simply means that more people go there than the other parks. Why? cause they advertise it more cause and it has more parks and hotels, so obviously more can attend there.

I suggest you read up on the company and Walt's life to really understand the man and what he and Disney is really about, or was anyway.

Though the tide does seem to be starting to turn ... a little.

  • this was a really great video it was totally what i expected and i have to say that you met the standards of what i expected to see.

  • haha i love this ride!!! i rode it when i was like ten and i didn't like it and then in a few years my friend made me ride it again and i love it! so fun!!

  • i <3 this ride but i wish i could have experienced Nature's Wonderland, and not just the leftover tracks and fish.

  • this is my favorite ride its fun and at night its just wow i also love space mountain!!!!!!!

  • I went on that ride in '07. It was awesome!

  • aww come on DW has this ride too!?!?!? DL isnt going to have anything unique to it =(

  • We still have mattorhorn.

  • they should have put the Big Thunder Mountain soundtrack

  • Come on! You guys know better to use a mounted camera then to record with shocks in the front row.

    Great promo otherwise =)

  • love this ride its awesome!!! :]

  • i love this ride!!! espically at night!!!!

  • SUSPENSE AT BEGINNING!

  • great!

  • AMAZINGLY AWESOME!

    xD

  • Is it just me, or are all these little video advertisements weighted heavily toward Disneyworld and almost exclude Disneyland.

And beyong that, what about the international parks? I haven't been there, but the Tokyo Disney parks look amazing, especially Tokyo Disney Seas, from what I've seen on tv, it looks to be quite possibly one of the top 3 best Disney parks out there.

    C'mon people, Diversify!

  • B/c Disney World is clearly the best of them all

  • Disneyland is better in my personal opinion, because it's the original and it feels more magical. The reason I think that Disney is making this promos for Walt Disney World is because the Disneyland Resort attracts more locals, while Disney World attracts tourists internationally.

  • Surely you jest, sir.

WDW may be bigger, but bigger is not better.

WDW was created after Walt died by the imagineers and by the suits. Walt didn't want it to be what it is today, he just wanted the DL copy, and then he wanted EPCOT to be a real actual city, Walt didn't want to build a theme park empire, he wanted to build a society.

And DL.. Walt made it, he touched it, he lived in it, his magic can truly be felt there. At WDW, you can't get that while riding the bus between parks... sorry

  • O really so u knew Walt Disney I guess considering u know what he wants and what he doesn't want. Just because Walt died b4 WDW was created doesn't mean he didn't want what WDW is today. Walt was alive for the Magic Kingdom and it is just if not more magical as DL.

  • Um... Walt died in '66 and WDW opened in '71, 5 years after he died. And one simply needs to look at the videos of Walt explaining his plans for the Florida land, specifically EPCOT. In no way did Walt want EPCOT to be anything at all resembling what it is today. He wanted it to be a planned city like any other. He put the parks and movies in other people's hands and focused only on EPCOT, but sadly died 6 months into the planning.

  • Don't question me on what I know about Walt and his parks I have watched every Disney video there is to watch. I'm tying to argue that Disneyland sucks cuz Iv'e never been there I sayin that I find WDW better personally cuz I go atleast once a year.

  • The Walt Disney Company did not want to be in the business of running a town.

That's one reason why Walt's version of

    EPCOT was never built.

  • Well Vigo, if you research and learn the history of Walt's life and WDW, you'll find that they did try for months to create EPCOT, but realized they couldn't do it without Walt. So WDW was a compromise, they wanted to do something for Walt, so they turned the Magic Kingdom into whole park resort called WALT Disney World, for Walt's memory. Walt was going to make this happen, and probably would have if he hadn't passed on.

  • I think this debate is and always will be pointless because each park has their ups and downs. Their strengths and weaknesses. That includes Tokyo, Paris, ect.

  • I love WDW but some diversity would be nice.

  • one of my favorite rides

  • I was soooo sad this was closed when I went in October 2007. )= I hope next time I go I can ride it!

  • :) i love big thunder !!mountain
