I think americans has a great deal to be proud about, a great nation and i agree with many of your values and principles. However i dont agree to your statement about the USA never having lost a war. the NATO tanks (Abrams, Leopard, Challenger) are the best on the planet right now. They use the same 120mm gun, and some have the same type of armor plating.

@WunderDoob Sorry but that's not all correct. Abrams and Leopard 2 (A0 to A5) are fitted with a 120mm smoothbore gun which was developed by Rheinmetall. The american gun is nothing else than a license production with some little changes like the breech for example and is called M256. In fact, it is still the german L44 gun. Leopard 2 A6, A6M, PSO and A7+ have the newer L55. The Challenger 2 however is fitted with a 120mm rifled gun. Unique for a modern main battle tank. The brits are hardheaded.

@WunderDoob But until not so long ago the brits planned to integrate the german L55 in the Challenger 2 but because of defence budget shortfalls the project, which also contained other improvements for the tank was cancelled.

1st. The Marines have their own M1 tank brigades. 2nd, the Marines are nothing like the Army. They are Marines not soldiers. They train differently from the Army since they are Naval troops, something the Army does not train for. They use different equipment, have different logistics systems, and command. Also the Army does not train Marines . They might train together for obvious reasons but the marines have a different
