Okay, what I do is first, at the begining, get the RPG and back up a little quicly as possible and fire. Then I take out the Javelin and start hunting with the solid eye. When found, I fire a rocket and run away right away. By the time I've run out of rockets, she'll start becoming easier to find, so I use any good machine gun, so I can stay a little longer to damage her. And remember, ALWAYS check to see if you don't have to reload before you fire. And when she's a ball, run dammit!

The story in this game is as important as its gameplay.

Solid Snake killed Big Boss in 1999. In 2014, Solid realises that he has no reason to live so he visits the grave of Big Boss before trying to commit suicide. However, the remains of Big Boss that were found in Eastern Europe turn out to be Solidus' and Big Boss shows up and encourages Solid to live out his life. Big Boss then dies of FOXDIE. Solidus is the only exact clone of Big Boss.

I think Laughing Octopus is the best boss fight in this game, right after Crying Wolf... although Mantis at the end is quite interessting. But I don't like the PsychoMantis flashback - doesn't make any sense to me, other then reminding fans of MGS 1

For a quick non lethal way, use mosin all the way she hides, except when she wrap around the medic scanner machine and when she hides in a box, there use the stun knife... when she attacks with her P90, also mosin, aim always for head, and if u cant, aim the chest. The tentacle attack is easy to evade, just roll or step back. When she rolls to you, climb something, like the beds over there. For the Mk.II disguise, just a stun grenade will do. And that's it =D

if u wanna kill her non lethally, u just use the stun knife when u see her hiding spot (mosin nagant if too far) . if she rolls 2 u get on sumthing and stun her when she unrolls. then jst go berserk w the tranq 4 dat moment. also try 2 make her waste bullets so she reloads. the bombs wnt hurt either

This battle was simply, chilling and eerie. Horror awaited you at every turn as Snake effortlessly scoured the dilapidated shack. I personally think this was the best boss fight I've ever experienced in a game. It may be far-fetched to say such a thing but I firmly believe that this game is an absolute masterpiece.

This boss fight was very fun. The tense searching, the sudden window break scares and the OH-SHI moments made it my favourite, Raven was the least fun, looking for a robo bird among robo birds is excruciateingly boring.

that fight was very easy. when your using snake to fight the best thing to do is hide under something the enemy will have trouble seeing you...boss fight or not its still an espionage game. its not necessary to get shot not even once. thats if your good. when i fought laughing octopus i hid under the bed and she couldnt get me. there was no need to use a ration or a recovery item. use your brain first then and your gun second

After you beat them and they walk at you, does it make a difference if you use bullets or anesthesia? I have been using anesthesia because I remember from MGS3 you got something extra, so I didn't know if it does anything in this game. I haven't shot one of the bosses with bullets yet when she has been walking towards me, but just trying to find out if it makes any difference.

Definatly octopus and mantis. They represent what the vectors can do. Mantis shows their cutting and ripping with the blades, and octopus represents their invisibility. She could, if she ever wanted to, turn them invisible alone.
