Lol for zoom u just slide ur one finger from the bottom to the top and vise versatile in the middle of ur screen took me awhile to figure that out too
Ok..I got a question...took a video and I tried to send it via a message and it keeps saying "message size limit reached. Sorry, you cannot attach this to your message" Waht do I need to do to make it fit to message?
I am getting a new Sprint Phone for Christmas, and at first I was trying to decide between the International Capability of the Blackberry Tour 9630, and the HD Video/Photo capability of the Samsung Instinct HD. Then a bunch of folks at Sprint (The Corporate offices where my father works) recommended the HTC Hero. In Bright Light, and High Rez, the Hero video you produced actually looks comparable to the Instinct HD. What do you think?
Thanks for this and all your Sprint HTC Hero reviews! Very well done, informative, and to the points of interest.
For low light photos, even with decent dedicated digital cameras, you need to mess with the ISO to get sharper images without flash, so it's not surprising. A very steady hand helps too of course. :-)
It also focuses on any part of screen when you tap your finger on it and takes photo if you holding your finger longer and you can get more sharper photos than using trackball puching method.
You just hold your finger on the left bottom side of the screen in landscape mode and drag it upwards - so it zooms in in both modes photo and video. Using latest firmware for European hero.
if u turn off auto focus and make it tap to focus then its little faster. also making the size smaller makes it little faster. still not as good as iphone
i can also without going to the menu, slide my finger up on the left side to zoom and also roll my track ball up to zoom. just takes a few seconds for it to work.
Huh?! The videos I make look aweful, and I use this phone!

You should really read the instrutions so you know what the phone will and will not do before you give a review about it

That didn't work on mine. Maybe a different software version. I tried to zoom every way you can imagine.
