  • Great video, I was looking at Mackie Thumps. Now I gotta check out berin....

  • @ hadiakbari you bought some really nice speakers enjoy them

  • hi, I want to buy Behringer EUROLIVE B815NEO, what do you think?

I want to use it at the concert at least with 300 people and max 600 people, do you think is this will be enough?

    2 stk.- Behringer EUROLIVE B1800D-PRO

    2 stk.- Behringer EUROLIVE B815NEO

  • @hadiakbari : You should atleast double those numbers. I do not know of any pair of 15" powered cabs that will handle the top end for upto 600 people. If the B815NEO's are as good as the B415DSP cabs, they will sound great, but they won't break the laws of physics kind of great, you still need more speaker cabs for a lot of people.

  • (cont) Just so you are aware, the 1200 watt rating on the B815NEO is peak rating, verses the Music Program 600 Watt rating of the B415DSP cabs. In reality, the B815NEO powered cab and the B415DSP cab have about the same power rating, they are using a different reference point on their rating system. Both will give you about 350-375 Watts RMS to the 15" woofer, and about 50-75 to the horn, which is still a lot of power, and they are well made.

  • @sleeperawaken36 wich of these speakers are power full, MACKIE SRM 450 V2 BLACK or the Behringer B815NEO??

  • @hadiakbari : Not sure what you are looking for here, they are both powerful. Haven't heard the B815NEO, only the B415DSP. Depends on what you are looking for. Mackie certainly has the better reputation as a whole, but I like my B415DSP cabs well enough, I'd probably go for the B815NEO's, if given the choice. The B815NEO should be in the same class as the B415DSP, just lighter weight, and my cabs are louder than the SRM450's. However, the SRM450's are lighter, and an easier carry.

  • @hadiakbari : i love my B415DSP and i also have the B815NEO love them both... The NEO is about 800watts continuous ....love them more than my jbl 125 only because the NEO is lighter and louder.... SLEEPERAWAKEN36: is you can rent the B815NEO i would love to see a video on it because you are very through

  • @jayfran2010 I bought 2 Mackie HD1521 but they are still expensive in Norway.

1600W peak and 800 watts RMS.

  • @jayfran2010: I do videos for free, but I don't rent equipment to do videos for free, as I don't have money to burn. If Behringer ever wanted to send me some though...HA! Bought the one's I have, kind of wish the lighter weight NEO's were out at the time, but bought my B415DSP cabs before the NEO's came out... but still way happy with them, just heavy.

  • that why my freind gave stupid advice and thinks hes god

jbl is alway had better equipment

  • buy five more and u rock even 500 to 1000 people at outdoor gig the b415dsp dont let u down keep on rockin behringer cheap but nice clarity and crystal sound the bass driver give a brutal punch that blow u away ............... amazing .....actvive speaker u got it b415dsp and remember your ear just listen and enjoy keep rockin .....

  • thanks for the info mate good video i heard 1 of these yesterday and there excellent in sound very powerfull in deed

  • hey does any 1 no if these r better then the JBL EON315 ??? i really wanna get the most for my money !

  • Whats better value for money, these or the

Tapco Thumps, and also which one has better bass??

  • The B415DSP's would kick the snot out of the Tapco thumps. The B415DSP have about twice the power going to them, they are crossed over a lot lower for the mid horn, have a better mid horn driver, and they have full Digital Processing. On the other hand, they are more expensive than the Tapco Thumps too, but in my opinion the B415DSP's are worth the extra cash. It's going to depend on your needs though. (cont)

  • On the down side, the B415DSP's are HEAVY, weighing in at around 80 lbs a piece. Also, the handles suck. You can get used to them, but they are not the greatest. Also, if you plan to plant them on stands, all is good, but just sitting on the ground they are kind of wobbly. These are some annoying things, but for the price, and how good they sound for the price, they are worth it to me :)

  • @sleeperawaken36 80lbs with a build in amp is not that heavy. My old Sp2ts weigh 96 lbs a piece and they are passive. Behringer is disposable gear any ways. Just more junk from China to over fill our landfills.

  • @MikeHF: Careful with the generalizations, you'd be surprised to find out how much of the big name brand stuff is outsourcing to China as well. As for the weight, I've had heavier cabs too, but a lot of the newer powered cabs have neo drivers and class D amplifiers, bringing down the weight to as low as 40 lbs for a cab this size. However, at a much higher price.

  • Perhaps but it still doesn't change the fact that Behringer stuff is junk. You get what you pay for.

  • @MikeHF: That's your opinion. Some of their stuff has been junk, namely most of their DJ mixers, but some of there other products are fairly decent. They EP1500 and EP2500 amps have proven themselves, and all of their PA speaker cabs have been okay that I've heard of. Most of their PA cabs have been kind of luke warmish, not outstanding, but okay, but these powered cabs are actually quite good for the money. You can say otherwise, but you don't own a pair, and it's just your opinion. I do.

  • Hey mate, i just got 2 of these babys,

last weekend i played on 2 15inch RCF speakers at a party, they were at full volume, crappy bass (we hired them lol) they weren't very loud...... compared to these. lmao for the money, these speakers ROCK THE HOUSE.

the rcf's are lighter, these are a bit heavy, but who cares. :)

  • thank's for responding me and please forgive my english i'm from romania if you want to talck more my id messenger is laurentiu_minune!thank's again!!!

  • but 2 behringer b415dsp with 2 monitors behringer eurolive f 1220 a and a subwoofer b 1800xpro and a pmp 3000 dosen't sound better than 2 rcf art 500 a?

  • No. It would sound louder, and with more bass, but not better. Quantity does not increase the sound quality of an item. Is one Ford F150 and two Ford Taurus's better than one Ferrari sports car? It depends on what you can afford, and what you are trying to accomplish. For me, RCF stuff is outside what I can reasonably afford, so the Behringer B415DSP cabs are a good value for me (the are good cabs for the money).... but if I could afford the RCF cabs, you bet I'd buy them instead.

  • I do want to make it clear though, that I really do like the B415DSP cabs, they are an excellent sounding cab, with a good list of features.... but if you can spend $1,800 per cab on RCF, you'll get your money's worth there as well :)

  • i want to now that the behringer b415 dsp is more good than rcf art 500a please tell me!!!

  • You are kidding right? LOL You are comparing a $500 cab to a $1,800 RCF cab with a 2" exit horn? The RCF art 500a is far, far superior. No contest. The Behringer B415DSP is a good value for the money, but not in the same league as the RCF stuff.

  • nice speakers... Iwas going to buy these bad boys but I got a sweet deal on A PAIR OF JBL EON G2 15... $800.00 for two in canadian funds....can't wait to hear these in action ...great vid

  • That's an excellent deal, you will enjoy them :)

  • Comment removed

  • dont tell me u bought them on lespac?

  • I don't know what lespac is. I got them from a local shop, through a specail deal :)

  • Hey let me know when you post a vid up of these cabs in action! I am interested in purchasing a pair! Thanks for the info!!! :)

    DJ Benny

  • YEAHHHHH first commment!!!! It had to be me... yeahhh

    Nice vid Brady!!! awesome spkr!!!!!

  • Dude, just wait....hehe....

  • I love Behringer!! Good buy, Good video!!! I been thinking about those speakers, I saw them at t he NAMM show in LA. Behringer had them set up with a couple subs and, For the sound they put out, You would think a few hundred bucks more, but no, That is why I love Behringer, Good product, Good price. I hope to see another video

  • The IEC Input is sideways, using a standard kettle lead is likely to get in the way of access to dials and inputs etc.

  • You mean the power cable connector? The power cable does not get in the way. I suppose if you used a 90 degree angle connector on the power connector, that would be a problem, but it comes with a straight lead... but for those that prefer an angle connector on their power lead, yeah, I would see what you mean :)
