  • Thank YOU for YOUR lovely tribute to the GREAT John Ford. Mr Ford was the best of the best and I am sorry to say we'll never see his type of film-maker again. His was in a class by himself.....and thank you again.

  • I saw John Ford's movie with TV in childhood.

Akira Kurosawa's movie was telecasted with TV in my junior high school age.

    I became crazy about Kurosawa.

It is because in the basis of Kurosawa's movie, there is John Ford's will.

I learnt Kurosawa's book was read, and John Ford was adored like father.

I think that the movie is an important culture that succeeds human hearts without the

discrimination of the nationality and the race in the next age.

  • Ford is my favorite director---marvelous tribute to a gifted artist!

  • which song is the first??

  • This song is taken from the "How the West was won" film Soundtrack, Composed by Alfred Newman.

Is the first of the album.

Ford siempre Ford just Ford !!!!!

  • I've got a twist on the famous Welles line:

    "Tarantino, Tarantino and Tarantino."

    I'm so wasted.

  • Man, youtube is crack, heroin, meth whatever.

Liberty Valance is one of my favourites too.

What's the line.."if you're not sure of truth, print the legend." Did I get that right? Someone pass me another beer.

  • the man whi shot Liverty Valance one of my favorites...

  • Some .. or most of my favorite movies.. I didn't even know he directed (til recently, when I happen to awaken to a documentary of him on AMC) and found were his. Grapes of Wrath, How Green Was My Valley, Rio Grande, They Were Expendable .. A Great director!

  • I think it's from "Fort Apache" but I'm not sure. You should check.

    By the way, Interesting tribute

  • muy buen homenaje Prowler, perfectamente mezclado con la música.

  • Quite simply .. the Master...

  • I´m only 18, but I adore Ford. One of the best directors ever!!!

  • Ford is great, but don't forget about Gary Marshall.

  • This is wonderful. I can't thank you enough for a tribute that really captures the essence of Ford's westerns.

  • john ford is one of three directiors that most inspire me

  • This Really GOOD MAN!

    Best regards

    Pomakli

  • I love John Ford.

  • First of all, sorry for my english. I dont practice ussually. I´m from Spain

I´ve made this video without a special meaning. It´s only a tribute of his best westerns. I dont want to explain anything about his life (except the moment when he says he only works for the check): Only images.

Apart of making a tribute I´ve made this to practice with the Windows Media Maker. I hope to do it better for the next time.

    Pillarman2 thnaks for the comments
