I think countries, especially those in the West, should encourage training between one another. Eurofighters vs legacy teens vs F-22, etc; I think it's great.

I hope we see more.

Maybe the Russians will join in for once and put their money where their mouth is so we can see how good their flaunted new Su and Pak Fa really are.

All in all though I think asymmetrical training is as good as it gets for air forces in a peacetime environment. There's no competition like nations pitting their air forces against one another.

It can of course lead to rivalries, but that's good. Rivalry encourages competition, which is ultimately the only way to get better.

Provided of course it doesn't escalate into real war.

This is very good video to see what tactic's German pilot's use in MiGs against one of the best trained air-force.

One more stuff yes German's was one of the best pilots on mig's because they have very much flight time much more then Russian pilot's. Also this version of the MiGs is very old.

Thanks for uploading this, I enjoyed all of it! Its great that Germany participated with us, and that we are allies with them and the Indian AF. It's great to see that even our men in trainers are competitive with the best Mig-29 pilots in the world. The F/A-18F, E, E/A-18G and the legacy models are some of the best fighters out in the world. @Caleb4100 Eh, tbh my hopes aren't that great for the super hornet, turns out it's actually not quite as good as the legacy hornet in terms of performance.

I have a lot of respect for the legacy hornet, though I think the Navy made a huge mistake scrapping it in favor of an all-hornet fleet; I think the two, combined with the prowler and hawkeye, created an unbeatable carrier-borne synergy.

i remember being surprised that the Germans let go of the MiG 29 leaving them with a fleet of Phantoms for their fighter force. I would love to see a video of German Phantoms and MiG 29s fighting. I doubt there were many dogfights though.

The Germans and Americans always practice togehther. Also in the education.

Americans fly with german teachers and Germans with american teachers.

There is always an exchanging of wisdom between both nations, also with the other NATO partners. That´s why nobody would have a chance against NATO pilots. But Russia has nice aircrafts, but no money to practice a lot. Sorry buddy

1stly, Mig-29 and Regular Hornets are pretty much the same era, class, and timeline.

2ndly, Su-30s are heavy fighters, in the class of F-15s not the Hornets

3rdly, German Migs were upgraded with latest avionics available to them.

Finally, F-18s are NOT the latest version, which would be the Super Hornets. These are old regular bugs.
