@neomuttley The Foresters and Imprezas are made in Japan. I think the Tribeca Legacy and Outbacks are the only ones made in the U.S. BUY A FORESTER YOU WON'T REGRET IT.
You're mistaken about that. My Impreza outback sport was made in Lafayette. So is the new Forester. A friend bought a new Outback (?: $30K+ w/v6) two years ago. It too was made in Lafayette. He had valve train trouble w/it after about a month...
