As an Independant who usually leans toward the Democratic Party, I have always had a liking for the McCain of 2000, but ... then he hired the SAME thugs who destryed John Kerry and then on the campaign trail lied, lied and lied some more . what will become of McCain ..... All respect lost forever , by Dems who befriended him and Repubs who were revolted by him. I think pilots call it "Crash and Burn"
i can't believe people actually listen to the whole thing. i mean, i hate robocalls in general. I don't care if its McCain's campaign calling, or the phone company advertising their new services, I just like to have the opportunity to either express my dislike for their call, or to just hang up before they finish talking.
I feel sorry for true republicans in this election since their party is going so low in corrupt tactics its unbelievable. The party knows they lost this election and now there hammering out smear tactics. It might have worked in 2004 but its not going to work in 2008 as people have had 4 years to digest Republican trash..and now the country is in shambles.
Im not involved in USA polotics..but that has to be the lowest of the low...they know full well there lieing and all this will do is create hate and devision...nothing good will come of this regardless of who wins..McCain has opened a pandoras box he wont be able to close..
That's pretty pathetic and desperate on McCain's part. He publicly said before that he did not think Obama was a terrorist, but that call is almost as bad as directly saying someone is one. Just sad fear mongering and more examples of McCain's double talk as well. I know if I got a call like that I'd being really ticked off because the McCain campaign is outright lying, being a public nuisance and wasting my time.
Total desperation from the Republicans. They know they've lost this election and that they've failed miserably to engage with the American people on the issues that matter to them. So they've decided to stoop even further into the gutter as part of a last-ditch smear campaign. Well, it won't work; and I, for one, am looking forward more than ever to November 4th when the forces of negativity and hate get the good kicking they so richly deserve.
The republicans are unfortunatly going for the "fear" tactic again. They have lost their basic sense of "honnor" and are now lying. The cowardice is so profound, that by using "robo calls" the citizen can not even defend the truth by talking back. This is pitiful. As a long time republican, I am ashamed, and my vote will go to Obama.

This was a dirty tactic, it lowers the character of American democracy.
The Republicans deserve to lose for it.

Way to go Barack,
Shoot back fast and hard at these swift boating tactics.
If a candidate lies to get into office, will he somehow become honest once in power?
