1. quickly master various jutsu, the user may also use all forms of chakra nature transformation which, as noted by Ibiki Morino, literally allows its user to use any technique they wish. it allows use of six paths techniques: Animal(all summoning), human(mind reading), diva(telechenisis), zombie(absorption of energies), angel(biomech weapons), and ghost(revival of dead bodies) etc. the Rinnegan also allows the user to see chakra, including otherwise hidden barriers.

also according to nagato told naruto, it allows control of chakra of opponent from short distance. also, it likely negates occular genjutsu. but not sound/tacktile genjutsu.

the ability to spread his ability around corpses/bodies by controling the chakra. and also the bodies that have rinnegan and are controled can send visual info together to coordinate attacks. that's likely how the Animal nature of one of the "six paths" was able to control the summoned beasts. so likely the Rinnegan allows for unlimited sharing of visual information into one single mind. likely depending on the strengh of the possesor of rinnegan.

the Sharingan on the other hand: show chakra, understand chakra, speed up visual perseption to predict moves, control one beast at a time(hardly they seam just in a trans, like when sasuke controled orochimaru's giant summons snake),summon wormholes(kakashi and tobi seam to do it), ::mankeyo(killfriend): use amanteratzu, use sukujomi, and summon giant spirit protectors(itachi did it when fighting sasuke), according to itachi, taking your brothers sharingan gives you imortality.

I think they should rename the show and call it sharingan shippuden, their are just to many people with sharingan now.
