  • Sam Neill, Im warning you, you peeping Tom. That is my spot! :P

  • Well, from his blog, Sam Neill is clearly NOT a meat lover.

But in George Clooney's words "Yes, I do coffee commercials. Got load of money for doing it. Get to live in a nice house. I dont give a shit what people say!"

  • so funny how people think he's australian. When he's clearly a New Zealander.

  • 100 years and people will laugh at this just the same as we do now with anti-gay and sexist ads from the 1950's

  • dude I love red meat, but I know its not healthy to eat it every day, and that it is ultimately unsustainable. Eat varied, more fat fish and vegetables/fruit.. not that I remember that

  • I'm vegetarian but Sam Neill is so convincing I'll buy a steak right now!

  • They clearly chose Sam Neill to be in this video because him talking about animals and evolution is vaguely reminiscent of Jurassic Park. They've even put him in beige trousers and a blue shirt.

  • That's the creepiest pro-meat ad I've ever seen. Makes me NOT want to eat red meat.

  • My all time favourite actor :)

  • The red meats poisoning the human race, with aggression that they consume when they eat a big fat big mc fuckin rotten big mac,...HERE THIS YEE ALL!!! YOU CONSUME THE ANGUISH AGGRESSION FEAR AND PAIN OF A COW THAT IS CRUELLY KILLED AND YOU SILLY CUNTS DONT EVEN KNOW IT YET!!!

  • @areyouplaying74

NO I KNOW, MUWAHAHAHA BUT I FEAST UPON THEM ANYWAYS, I BATHE IN THE BLOOD OF BABY COWS HAHAHAHA AND EAT THEIR PARENTS IN FRONT OF THEM, OOOOOH IT FEELS SO GOOD TO DEVOUR THE SOOOOUL OF ANOTHER LIVING THING!!! JOIN US, VEGAN!!!

  • NO WE WEREN'T MEANT TO FUCKIN EAT IT SAM YOU FUCKIN LYING CUNT!!!Fuck you and your opinion, we are herbivores you greedy devil slut Sam!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @areyouplaying74 - Incorrect, numb nuts. Humans are omnivorous. We started out as tiny, 4-legged herbivores but evolved into omnivores later. Maybe you should eat some red meat so you can think, fuck nut

  • The way he looked at that family...

I thought he was referring to them as the red meat...

  • He looks like a psychopath.

  • Sam Neill doesn't attack from the front, but from the sides. "Th-wha!" The other Sam Neill... You didn't even know about him.

  • @HarmsDino That's hilarious!!!!

  • The velociraptors command you to eat red meat....

  • Is this the guy from jurassic park?

  • @kckurbtt7 Yes he is :)

  • By red meat, does he mean that rotting flesh of some animal that chooses only to eat grasses and other herbivorous food.......By red meat does he mean that stuff that takes up acres of useful land to grow a couple of kilos of flesh when it could be used for grain to feed thousands? Ah, no thanks Sam...it doesn't make sense to me.

  • Fascist* :')

  • Me: I didn't eat red meat today

    Sam Neil: OOOOOAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

  • holy shit hes british!?

  • @XgiantXrectumX

    Actually, he's from New Zealand.

  • This is why he survived in Jurassic Park, because he eats meat.

  • Finally, someone who isn't fucking retarded.

Red meat, we were meant to eat it.

  • Comment removed

  • @SkaSchmidt Haha, that's a great comment.

  • @SkaSchmidt

What a terribly hypocritical post. You can't spout incessant hate about vegetarians, create a cliche stereotype then, in the same paragraph, say how forceful and 'high horse' vegetarians are. Worse than Scientology? Marry some tofu? That's pretty bad mate.

I can almost 100% guarantee that most people who see me in public wouldn't think I'm a vegetarian. I think the real issue here is that you have a personal agenda against vegetarians. We're not all arseholes!

  • It's hard to believe this is a real ad just because of how rediculous it is. In order to obtain meat, you have to kill an animal. Sounds morbid in itself yet Sam Neil is dancing vigorously to it. They're trying to push the idea that man evolved from eating red meat as if there aren't any other animals on the planet that have been consuming it for millions of years. The same protein in meat can be gained through other means. There literally is no point in eating it to us humans besides enjoyment.

  • @CoolGuy62093 You sir are incorrect. Proteins from tofu and other legume based products, as well as beans, are an incomplete protein. It's why every vegan I've ever met was a pale, emaciated wastrel. Human beings are omnivores, and to deny your inner beast an occasional piece of red meat is to deny your heritage, as well as compromise your own health. Eat meat, and eat it proudly.

  • @NephilimRomance I, personally, don't want to be responsible for any pain another sentient being has to suffer. I've been a vegetarian for one year and seven months and it hasn't changed my physical appearence at all. But I have always been white and skinny, so I guess I'm not a good spokesperson for all people that don't eat meat. Make no mistake, there are people that thrive from vegan diets like UFC fighter Mac Danzig and actor Tobey Maguire. Dude has a six pack if you haven't seen Spiderman.

  • @CoolGuy62093 You are aware what sentient means, right? It means it isn't self-aware. Sapient is what we humans are, self-aware and fully conscious. Animals are not. I hate that you people compare animals, even bloody flies, as EQUAL to us. Ticks me off to no end.

And about athletes on veg diets, it is very difficult to keep a vegan diet and stay in good shape. Very hard, far harder than with an omnivore diet.

  • @Gumby553 1 of 3 - It's ignorant people like YOU who tick ME off to no end. You're not even aware there is solid evidence that certain animals are, in fact, self-aware. For example: elephants, dolphins, apes, and magpies. Common speculation suggests that some other animals may be self-aware as well. Look up the mirror test if you don't believe me.

  • @Gumby553 2 of 3 - Oh, I'm sorry. Have you ever worked out on a vegan diet? I'm sure you're an expert yourself on exercising with and without meat in your digestive system but many proffesional vegan athletes might be keen to disagree with you. Since it's plainly obvious that you failed to even do the slightest bit of research on the sole athlete I mentioned, here's a link to a video where he talks about the advantages of his diet: /watch?v=NoTGMxgn1tg. Mac shows us how easy it REALLY is.

  • @Gumby553 3 of 3 - About equality among animals and humans, how arrogant can you be? You think this world is any more yours than it is theirs? Facist much? Significance is in the eye of the beholder. It's a matter of opinion! As in, if your mother and my dog were drowning in a river and I only had one life preserver, I'd throw it to my dog because he's more important (to me). That comment was meant to be satirical but you get the point.

  • @CoolGuy62093 Let me explain this to you:

WE ARE THE MORE HIGHLY EVOLVED SPECIES. From an Evolutionary viewpoint, we ARE superior to animals. And of course from my Christian viewpoint, we are also superior to animals.

See, people like you who would rescue a DOG over a BABY are what really disgusts me about some vegans. For God's sake, I've seen some of those posters comparing CHICKENS killed in slaughter houses to HOLOCAUST victims, you sick people.

  • @Gumby553 Ok, I'll have to remember that one for when I run into your scrawny ass. I am physically and mentally superior so obviously I have the right to kill and eat you. Dumb fucking kid. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Sounds like you've been brainwashed by your stupid parents who don't know how to raise a child properly. Are they the ones feeding you this bullshit? Your morals are so backwards it's actually hilarious. Go suck a bag of dicks you big lipped mop top faggot.

  • @CoolGuy62093 Isn't enjoyment what makes life great?

  • @SkaSchmidt Don't be a hypocrite, man. I see how all your recent comments are pro-meat, anti-vegetarian hate messeges. Let US be. I do find your take on vegetarians quite humorous though. I came here cause I like Sam Neil and was slightly off-set by this. Not because I wanted to preach my beliefs. This commercial is just stupid though. So stupid its funny. Like it if you want, it's whatever. And yes enjoyment is what makes life great. Helping other people makes life great too. Same for animals.

  • @CoolGuy62093 If you like Sam Neill, you're alright with me. I think that's one thing we can all agree on. Personally, I think he may just be the key to world peace.

  • Eating red meat causes death for all involved...

  • what a load of bullshit "we instinctively desire meat for it's nutrients: omega-3, zinc, iron and vitamin B12". All of these nutrients are come in larger quantities and are more digestible in vegetables. Don't believe these ads, they are created, regulated and distributed by our Government whom care nothing of our health at all but ensuring our economy remains strong by keeping the production of meat in Australia high. Humans aren't designed to eat me, and meat certainly didn't help us evolve!!!

  • We instinctly desire red meat. What a load of shit. We eat meat because our parents and corporations yell us to eat it.

  • Sam Neill will come to your house in the night to make sure you are eating red meat.

  • does anybody know the name of that song at the end of these videos ?

  • Raptor meat we were meant to eat it

  • Sam Neill deserves to go to hell.

  • God, religious people and vegetarians/vegans must HATE Sam Neil! He's a rational man with a strong message about reality of our exsistance! Good on him! Love him EVEN more!

  • I like the part where all these vegetarians come in and wasting their time reasoning about meat giving you health problems when it's insignificant to smoking, drugs, pollution, junk food, etc.

Seriously why fuck are you not focusing on ACTUAL serious problems?! God damn, if you had a child smoking, you would of focused more on him eating a steak then his lungs blackening.

  • sam neill is a sell out

    plugs meat for $

while animals in factory farms suffer

    sellout....

  • @themoz3

He is promoting eating meat. You know what - for you and the others - so upset about 'treatment' of animals being slaughtered - why not take ALL that anger and hate - and stop hunting as a sport! There you go! The shooting of bears and eagles and wolves. But guess what - that's too hard for you arm chair whingers. A lot easier to rag on slaughter houses than actually get out and do something. You know why - you are chicken sh@5t of hunter as they would shoot your face off!

  • @themoz3

  • most vegetarians have been through the meat eating cycle and have something to compare with! where as meat eating cannibals are in denial and havn't been on both sides of the fence to deserve to make full judgement! EAT MEAT AND DIE! (quicker)

  • Ahhhhh, so THIS is the hell demension in "Event Horizon", and THAT'S why Weir went crazy.

    Huh.

  • what is the song at the end??? :O ITS SOO GOOD

  • @julez123444

    possibly something by FatBoy Slim

  • EAT MEAT AND BE IN THE LUCKY DRAW FOR ...CANCER ...HEART DISEASE ..DIABETIES AND MUCH MUCH MORE!

  • @kellykaos666 --AGREE...MEAT EATERS DO GET THEIR NEGATIVE CHARMA!

    BAD HEALTH !

  • @kellykaos666 Breath the air around any city with a population over 10,000 and be in line for cancer. Eat cheese, or ice cream (as well as any HIGH carb food) and also have heart disease! AND MUCH MUCH MORE!

Seriously, studies show that Red meat is not the cause for a majority of your complaints, it's the fact that these cuts of beef are being processed, literally DIPPED in salt to preserve them. Study a little, and people might be inclined to listen to you.

  • @Vincentsdream -all meat is fukking crap i have been a lot healthier and cancer free since i dropped it almost 30 ago years ago when i was told i had 6 months to live! the more crap you eat the less vege and good stuff you dont! and i look 10 years younger and dont get things like thr flu or gastric and all the other common digusting things we get when we digest fukking crap!

  • @kellykaos666 Well, I'm glad you're cancer free but I can guarantee you the meat proper didn't give it to you. As I said, studies have shown that a majority of the harmful components in meat, are from extra ingredients that take place during processing. Also I hate to break it to you but not eating meat didn't cure your cancer. That's absurd. You also probably look 10 years younger because you're no longer dealing with cancer through preventive measures. Glad you're cancer free, it can be hard.

  • @kellykaos666

You do not know you are cancer free - no one does. My partner is a surgeon and let me tell you - Linda McCartney died of cancer - and she was a vegan. So wake up dopey! Cancer is in all of us - meat does NOT cause cancer or mankind would not exsist now - simple as that.

  • @kellykaos666 Ever heard of eating in moderation and a balanced diet? Just because people eat meat doesn't mean meat plays a massive part in their diet. I eat meat but I don't eat that much meat and because of it, I've got iron deficiency.

  • ITs dinosaur meat

  • What a great commercial. They could never show this in America because of the Christian fundamentalists.

  • Comment removed

  • We don't need eyes to see where were going, only red meat.

  • Actually there was a good balance of nature with animals eating other animals to survive many years ago. Raising animals on hormones in horrific conditions is not natural and putting them through the torture they go through is not ok. True there are nutrients in meat but they all have alternate sources and the toxins you are eating are not helping you. Would you eat an apple pumped up with tons of unnatural super fast growing hormones?

  • @harrypotterchachacha We do, actually. But your point stands:meat is not the problem – mass animal raising is.

  • I think a variety of diet is what will keep the human race to survive, if we were to depend and specialise on either meat or vegetable, we will sure be the first to extinct if something catastrophic happened in our eco-system. So I believe us humans are born and meant to eat a balance diet of Red meat, White meat, seafood, Vegetables and fruit, so that we would not starve our species to extinction.

  • blood food. we are all animals.

  • Sam Neill has such a great subtle technique, thats why he's so fucking cool. I love the "giant leap" from the second rung of a step stool LOL

  • Eating red meat causes people to whinge less. True fact.

  • If Sam Neill tells you to eat red meat, you fucking eat red meat.

  • Nice to see 22,824 comments.

  • Rubbish Joolenka

  • @havlorech

No you "fucking" don't. Sam Neill is a sell out wanker. The only thing he's good at is spreading propaganda and lies to misinformed dolts, like you!

  • @lastplacewin

Do some research dumb sh@%$t! The bible is pure story telling. If it wasn't it would have dinosaurs in it, plus the true history of when mankind first started. Next - we ARE MEAT EATERS! That is not to say we should not eath other thing as we should for sure. But ESPECIALLY for women we need Iron. More and more women cannot give blood because they do not consume enough iron - and red meat is the best source on earth. Oh, and Sam Neil rocks and you suck so there!

  • @Lillyvon

Uh okay. I'm not a Christian, I have not read or studied the bible so I can't comment on that. But thanks for letting me know. The iron debate is OOOLD NEWWWWS. I, my mother and my sister have been vegetarians for years and our iron levels are all normal.

Red meat is the best source for iron, no doubt about it but tell me this - how many vegetairns do you know who have iron deficiencies? You want the truth? All that red meat in your colon is a ticking time bomb.

    And you're a dick.

  • @lastplacewin

Fine - eat vegies - but can you tell me if your sister or mother have any gone to give blood? Get back to me once they have ok. And ummm, when mankind first emerged from yipping money's we ate - guess what - one guess - MEAT! That is a scientific fact that manking evolved from eating meat - not potatoes or carrots - MEAT! IDIOT!

  • Comment removed

  • @lastplacewin there are plenty of other sources for iron, if everyone did proper research or were taught nutrition in primary school.

  • @Lillyvon

I usually keep to myself. I have nothing against meat eaters, and nothing against vegetarians. But I hate this sort of bullshit. Do you, or Sam Neil, or any of these stupid mindless drones think that a campaign such as this is going to make vegetarians eat meat again? Think about it - regardless of what any pro-veg person has said here, disregard it all. Do you think that any vegetarians have started eating meat (again) because of this boner?

    Really think about it.

  • @lastplacewin

I do not think he is trying to convert vegetarians to be honest - just saying meat eaters need to eat more red meat like beef or lamb. Oh, and Sam Neil rocks - you cannot argue that. We are suposed to accept famous people's religious views, but say something about eating meat and you are the worst in the world??? Oh give me a break!

  • @havlorech HAHAHAHA!!!

  • I think the issue here is that people have the choice. I eat red meat regularly and nobody is going to tell me otherwise. Just the same as a vegetarian will not touch meat, and no one will tell them otherwise. I think the Veggies need to STFU, and respect the fact that people eat meat, and have done for thousands of years. On the same token, the meat eaters need to also respect the fact that some people choose to be vegetarians.

  • @digglah1 please do the research. animal products are as closely tied to disease as cigarettes are. it's just that the facts are distorted by the greedy meat industry, who will go to all lengths to sell you lies. you're eating lies. do your body a favor and go back to it's natural state--being a herbivore. yes, like many other animals on this planet, we are natural born herbivores. everything about our structure contradicts being a carnivore.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @digglah1 i laughed at the audacity of this campaign to declare that we ate meat to evolve! hahaha! they're playing you all for fools. it's just plain offense to our intelligence. humans had long fully evolve before they ever touched meat, which was done out of desperation when crops died out due to climate change. humans had to scavenge off the remains of the kill of other carnivores. this meat-eating business has spun out of control. it is a stain on humanity and it is bound to come to an end.

  • Comment removed

  • @digglah1 THANK YOU. It's about time someone made a sensible comment on this video.

  • Just look his dance grooves at the end... greater than life

  • If your a fat fucking slob then yeah take it easy on the meat, the redder the better the more leaner.

If ur a vege fag, lol good luck building up muscle or doing /cardio than a person that eats meat

All the people that bitch about meat are the ppl that havent ran a fucking mile or lifted pass 10 pounds

All the stuff you dont absorb or take in the rest of the day gets turn into fat, jog a little or lift a little.

HEY YOU FOLK EVER HEARD OF ADAPTATION. I SURE HAVE LIKE THE LAST 2K OF YEARS

  • I just did 41 consecutive pull ups, haven't touched any meat for years. Excuse me, time for the second set... Can u hold your own weight with meat?

  • @Chrisisms Don't bother, this guy is really uneducated and has been brainwashed by television.

  • @Vamperor45 I'm studying a degree in Nutrition and am a vegetarian. You are completely uneducated when it comes to nutrition and are just spouting propaganda. Human beings do not need red meat or any other kind of meat to build muscle or do cardio. Maybe you should go study the catabolism/anabolism of proteins/amino acids

  • @ByeByeBelly

Ya your totally right but im a troll.

i spark flamewars and whatnot. im a fitfag/nutrion guy

  • You already got a thumb, you already walk upright, why would you turn into a vegetarian fag? or vegan

I dont like coke, but i like the way it smells

  • Vamperor45 'You already got a thumb'

    All frugivorous hominoidea have thumbs.

    'you already walk'

Direct human lineage walked upright with advantage of carrying crops to mates through forest (Ardipithicus).

'why would you turn into a vegetarian'

All hominoidea digest fruit best. No mutation required.

    'fag? or vegan'

UR Study March, 2007 mothers high beef consumption while pregnant was associated with lower sperm counts

  • @Chrisisms fag

  • @Vamperor45 You're whinning...

Humans produce 1% protein in breast milk and this is the optimal food during the time when protein requirements are most crucial. Babies grow at the rate of an inch a month and need such small protein amounts, approximately 7 grams of protein/day.

Excess protein contributes to cancer, obesity, constipation, diverticulitis, etc.

Consume meat if u want, just don't call it natural or lash out at healthy eaters.

  • @Chrisisms

liver failure, blah blah yeah i know.

ARE YOU ALL TAKING THIS SHIT SERIOUSLY? PROB EBAUMS SET THIS VIDEO UP!

    get trolled on.

  • Sam's great. I just don't agree with the approach of these ads. Its not the eating of meat that bothers me, of course we were "meant to eat meat". But its how well the animals lived and died which their parts made it to our dinner plate that concerns me. This is what the ad needs to convey if they are worried about the downturn in meat sales. I'm no vegy/vegan. I live on a sheep farm and these types of ads just cover up the real problems of the meat industry.

  • Give it another 10 million years and vegetarian and carnivore humans will eventually become different species; the carnivores will be stronger and smarter and the vegetarians will be skinny and weak. The carnivores will eat the vegetarians!

  • Do not forget that wont enjoy the things that come from animals and animal-byproducts such as camera lens( movies, tv, photographs) thermoplastic polymer( used in clothing, computers and plumping) and other plastic. Oh wait they do and have the nerve to criticize others.

  • @bennyg44

You could have a look at some interesting videos if you type ''the protein myth''.

It is always good to know a topic when we talk about it.

    Peace.

  • Well Carnivores have been eating the vegetarians since the beginning of time XD

  • Why does Sam look so yummy in these ads?

  • Would you veggie eating tree huggers shut up. You won't eat meat, you hug your trees and plants. What do you eat? Soy I guess.

  • @GuitarBarto007

Have a look at something interesting.

Just type ''the protein myth'' on youtube.

    We've all been brainwash.

    Peace

  • "Meat consumption in relation to cancer risk has been reported in over a hundred epidemiological studies from many countries with diverse diets

After eight years, 53,396 cases of cancer were diagnosed.

Meats can cause cancer by several routes, the researchers noted. "For example, they are both sources of saturated fat and iron, which have independently been associated with carcinogenesis,"

U.S. National Cancer Institute Library of Science journal PLoS Medicine. 2007.

  • @Chrisisms

    Right on!

Type ''the protein myth'' on youtube.

    You'll thank me (maybe)

    Peace!

  • "Mommy, what is Sam Neill doing out on our porch?"

  • @Alanuviel

He's lying and he's getting paid big bucks for it.

Do yourself a favor and type ''the protein myth'' on youtube.

    Peace

  • sam neill... we were meant to eat him

  • Ooo la la!! Amen!!! I'd eat Sam any day!!

  • now ur changing the subject. first admit cholesterol doesnt cause CHD before we move to something new

  • Premature CHD started to decline at a time when a diet high in animal proteins and fat was advocated. The decline is now showing signs of faltering with the current low-fat regime as CHD mortality in younger women has risen in six of the last seven years (HMSO, 1988-95).

  • At the beginning of this century, when mortality and morbidity from CHD was low, fat intakes were predominantly of butter and animal fats. The rises in CHD mortality in Britain followed rises in consumption of margarine and vegetable shortenings (Yudkin,1957).

  • imilarly CHD was unknown in the milk- and meat-eating Maasai and Sambura tribes of Africa (Shaffer, 1963). Comparing the Eskimos of Greenland and Baffin Island with those of Labrador shows the same pattern (McClellan & Du Bois, 1930). The former, eating no vegetable foods, had no CHD, while the latter, who ate 'civilized' food - dried potatoes, flour, canned foods and cereals - did.

  • After almost half a century of research into diet and cardiovascular diseases, the Framingham researchers say: "Intakes of fat and type of fat were not related to the incidence of the combined outcome of all cardiovascular diseases or to total or cardiovascular mortality" (Gillman, et al , 1997)

  • An Indian study (Malhotra, 1967) showed seven times the occurrence of myocardial infarction and fifteen times higher mortality from CHD in south Indians compared with north Indians, even though the north Indians consumed nine times more fat, most of which was saturated animal fat.

  • @bigusdikus0 People of India are often poor and suffer from diseases of poverty. Not relevant for those Westerners suffering from diseases of affluence.

The optimal diet is one of raw fruit, leaves, sprouts, etc. This may seem unexciting but it is the healthiest and most natural.

  • its a comparison between two areas of india! so poverty levels compared with west is irrelevant

  • @Chrisisms

People of India are often poor and suffer from diseases of poverty.

its interesting that you dont include that factor in the lifespan of the masai. only when it suits your argument?

  • @bigusdikus0 What percentage of people of India are poor? A rough estimate?

  • @myfavgeets i dont know why?

  • Just Asking!

  • @myfavgeets

    42%

and they have a third of the worlds poor

  • you dont have to be old to get CHD. why dont masai have premature chd? and they dont all die at 45. the older ones dont get CHD either

  • @bigusdikus0

    Covered.

  • yes covered and i proved u wrong.

  • @Chrisisms

what are the masai dying of? where is the evidence that their diet contributes? all youre saying is they have low lifespan but no causation from cholesterol or even correlation. they have lower cholesterol!

    Chrisisms (49 minutes ago)

masai suffer from an epidemic of cardio vascular disease

    Chrisisms (22 hours ago)

    Masai have low CHD

  • What is most telling from Mann's studies is that the Masai were in far better physical condition and their cardiovascular systems were far healthier than age-matched Americans. "Age-matched" is the key word--if the Masai were able to combine the healthier aspects of their lifestyle with a more sanitary and civilized mode of living, then there is little reason to believe they would not live as long if not longer than the average westerner.

  • ya cholesterol is a leading cause of syphilus and homicide! haha

  • Based on what we know, the major causes of death among primitive humans were infectious disease and violent death. This applies even to many recent hunter-gatherer/nomad societies. Mann's autopsy study of Masai men showed that the most common causes of death were "homicide" and syphilis

  • the improvement in longevity we enjoy today has occurred primarily over the last century, and cannot be attributed to the abandonment of Paleolithic nutrition, which occurred some 10,000 years ago.

In fact, Cohen and a whole host of others (Paleopathology at the Origins of Agriculture. Eds: Cohen MN, Armelagos GJ. Academic Press, New York, 1984.) have presented evidence suggesting that human health took a turn for the worse with the onset of agriculture.

  • in conclusion

    1. diet does NOT raise serum cholesterol.

    2. high serum cholesterol is healthier anyway.

  • According to the view of the Masai people in Kenya, vegetables and fibers are food for cows. They themselves drink half a gallon of Zebu milk each day and their parties are sheer orgies of meat. On such occasions several pounds of meat per person is not unusual. In spite of that the cholesterol of the Masai tribesmen is among the lowest ever measured in the world, about fifty percent of the value of the average American

  • @bigusdikus0 Several studies have revealed Masai have low CHD despite a diet high in fat.

Studies detailing other potential protective factors, however, are lacking. The most conspicuous finding was the extremely high-energy expenditure, corresponding to 2565 cal/day over basal requirements, Mean body mass index was lower. The potentially atherogenic diet was offset by very high energy expenditure levels and low body weight. Br J Sports Med. 2008 Jun 3.

  • that proves that exercise is more important than diet. also that high cholesterol doesnt cause heart disease.

  • 'exercise is more important than diet'

'exercise does not lengthen life span. Instead caloric restriction creates beneficial changes in the bodys hormone levels which exercise does not. These metabolic changes extend life.
