Erik and Jared played in my basement for the second time 2 days ago. They were incredible as always and I got them to play unrehearsed stuff for us. :)
his name is erik nieve I dated his cousin and crashed at his house several times. in fact, i have a digital multitrack recorder that i bought from him. i'm really happy to have met him and his family.
I apologize to everyone, but I have to play the trump card. I saw this guy play in his original band, Amalgam. Then, years later, I saw him at a little coffee shop in Zion, Illinois called It's All Good. I talked to him there shortly and fell in love with his music. I remember taking his EP, self-titled Cedarwell. This happened almost five years ago.

Cedarwell is one of the best bands out there right now. Genuinely talented, clever but never smug music, written well. Erik earns the incomplete sentence that comes before this, and then some.

I saw these guys in Brooklyn, they're awesome. It was the first time I was ever compelled to buy a CD on the spot at a show.
