The firearm is DESIGNED to be fired from mid crouch -to- stand position, you can't bend or lay down while firing because you can't see or hit anything, this weapon is designed to spray fire with no aiming tool, look at the recoil, how can he put his eye on the aimpoint while firing, recoil would break fiew facial bones and he would loose his eye...

thank you for explanation. So it is ok to mount on top of armored vehicle or they have to build a proctection wall in a dug out. Then it is only good to fight human waves at close range. But if the enemy have snipers and more accurate attack weapons then these are almost useless?

@DitMeManhDungTriet the only use i see in this weapon is in bunker defense or bottlenecks, this weapon's range is so small, the barrel is very short so it has no precision, any soldier seeing this in open can take it out in seconds, you can pin down this whole platform with any assault rifle in the world... people carrying this around is ridiculous but then again Russian's don't care that much about their soldiers safety, just refer to any aircraft, weapon or tank made by the russians

@critical488 you obviously don't know these can be used as a modified mortar and is best used for indirect fire support. in fact this idea is good enough that even the US has a grenade mg called the MK-19 and it is used for a lot more than just a defensive role.

@marselzmr, показалось...) Все из железа. Да и вес АГС-17 не малый, около 55 кг, в сборе. Надо учитывать, что это гранатомет и отдача довольно сильная. Если держать рукоятки неплотно, то запросто можно выбить большие пальцы, которыми жмешь на курок-спуск. Выстрелы (боеприпас), по поражающей силе, немного слабее обычных ручных гранат, но скорострельность и дальность решают.

You don't need such accuracy when sweepin' enemy. And on this video grenade launcher wasn't attached to the surface. It's pretty accurate weapon.

And don't start holy war again. Every gr. launcher system has its own pros and cons - there is no "ultimate best GL system in the world".

For example, AGS-17: simple, easy in use, pretty powerful, but heavy as hell and don't have such fire rate. And I carried and SHOT from this baby for whole year - I don't need "chair weapon specialist".

Реальное говно по нынешним меркам. Гранатомёту уже 40 лет. Он морально устарел лет 20 назад.

Кучность - нулевая, отдача - просто ояебу. О прицельном метании гранат, похоже, и речи не ведётся. Улыбнул прицел. С такой отдачей смотреть в прицел может только безглазый.

Автору рекомендуется погуглить американский гранатомёт ХМ-307. Вот это красотища! Вот это - технология!

@SpNGRU Ты это зря, даже АГС-17 страшная сила. Ну а АГС-30 с той же гранатой легче и удобнее. Кстати граната от АГС-17 уничтожает все живое в радиусе 5 метров. В 15 метрах от взрыва ты еще будешь жив, но на всю оставшуюся короткую жизнь будешь дерганным, и писать по ночам.

В ЮАР разработали аналогичный гранатомет, в два раза легче, отдача практически отсутствует. Плюс встроенный электронный баллистический вычислитель, для стрельбы по минометному.
