Hi i started the mini-pill cerezette in august 19th 2011 and had an awful experience on it i had very bad spotting and i was wondering if that was because i constantly forgot to take it on time i was always 12 hrs late doing it! i kept on forgetting to take it all the time i was on it, how long does it take to wear off after only taking it for two months??? I will never go on this mini-pill again.. Can you help doc?

its called use vitamins daily fucking stupid. you will always have people trying to make you turn against it. but i watched the doctors and it doesnt cause breast cancer, alot of the women that developed it that were on the pill already had signs of it before going on the pill. it almost saved thier lives being on the pill because they never knew they had the cancer. and its a great alternative for sexually active teenagers. and has many benefits for cancers. you always will have arguers.

right now i'm on the mini pill because i wanted less drug. it's not as effective. but i wouldn't be upset if i got pregnant, we just cant aford it. but i'm not very active either lol. i love my two girls soo much. and i want more kids. if money was no problem i would love to just let nature happen. i told the doctors that when i got pregnant back to back and they said i was crazy. i said if god wants me to have a baby it'll happen and they told me i didn't know what i was talking about.

This is very one-sided, sounds like she just doesn't want people on the pill because it's a contraceptive, but she's hiding that behind health risks. She fails to mention that the pill actually decreases some types of cancer. She also doesn't seem to realise that some girls have BAD periods, and that the pill while having its risks, actually has more benefits to justify them. Also, with acne, there are more effective drugs, but the risk of depression is even worse. You have to weigh it all up.

you should talk to a doctor about this, and this is totally wrong. I did thorough research before I decided what birth control I wanted. And it just regulates your hormones which you create yourself! And just puts your ovaries into a slumber so if there is sperm,there is no egg to fertilize.

I agree with this video on the grounds that yes the pill has problems. I don't agree with kids being put on the pill for pimples. That is just stupid. But for birth control and regulating menstruation I do agree with it. However like I found other alternatives for birth control I would like to see another alternative for menstruation regulation. Because yes those chemicals can't be good for person to take as long as many women take the pill.

I was put on it to help with Endometriosis- That is an issue that many women need to know if is out there. It is very helpful in my case, and I'm very lucky to have seen an amazing specialist who knows what he's doing with Endo. I hope other young women are getting correct info about the pill - and the variety of reasons to be put on it... or when not to be on it.

i went on birth control my sophomore year im getting off the pill cause i keep forgetting to take it plus i dont think i need it anymore. im not sexually active i just used it for the severe cramps, some times i would throw up. birth control helped me, i had no long term side effects. because they are rare and all of this depends on the person, family history. remember theres side affects in every medication you take not just birth control

To my understanding, you can't get pregnant while breastfeeding, anyway, so stop taking the birth control - it's entirely unnecessary.

This is absolutely not true. Yes, breastfeeding inhibits ovulation and most women don't start there period for about 6 months after giving birth if breastfeeding and about 6 weeks if not breast feeding. However, there are ALWAYS exceptions to the rule. Unless you are ready for another pregnancy, always use some form of birth control and it is indeed necessary.
