I'm going Alykez on Sunday for the 3rd time, love it. Last year we went on the 8 hour boat trip all around Zakynthos and saw Shipwreck Cove, the island that looks like a turtle (haha) and loads. It was great except I was ill on the coach to the boat and then I got sea sick and the heat didn't help either since I spend most of my life in the shade. Great place to go though, I'm a teenager and always like it. We go to a hotel called Koukounaria, really nice. Beach is about 1 minute walk and right

When seeing your oictures I remember with joy my eight-weeks-travelling through Ionian Sea including Zakynthos, which is one of the nicest islands in the mediterranean!

it doesnt seem as if this place has alot of fine beaches..... does it?? the only one i can see is the shipwreck beach!

@madsvh666 it has alot of nice beaches, resorts like tsilivi and laganas have beaches, however laganas beach has some restrictions due to the turtles, tsilivi beach is very nice and has a blue flaf award for cleanliness, other beaches like banana beach are also very good

yes we had a good boat trip we saw two turtles, swimming from the boat And informative talk by guy called Chris about turtles, nice guy, english, working as tour boat guide new his stuff, good day out.

yes! chris i went on a boat trip with him and i saw 2 turtles by the boat i went on that trip 2 times you get to swim round the caves i have a vieo of me jumping from the boat
