use tape, join the towel up at the bottom of the drum pad and they should hold in place, that's what i did when i was using the sock mod.

Its actually not so bad. The chorus can be done just with RL sticking, the only really hard part is the hi-hat pattern towards the end, which require some "creative" sticking.
