It works in the engine but 07 and newer diesels require an exhaust particle filter or scrubbing spray that isn't designed to work with biodiesel. In my car biodiesel doesn't have enough emissions to burn off properly in the exhaust particle filter.
Im not bagging on biodiesel, I would love to use it in my car. But with my car's emissions particle system it isn't programed to burn off the biodiesel emissions properly.. I can put as much as B5 in my car though (but it is difficult to find in my area).. someone on the tdi club forums used b99 exclusively in his and it wrecked his car.
doesn't work in newer diesels unfortunately, ive got a 09 jetta tdi

Why doesn't it work? Did you try B99, B20 or vegetable oil? Just curious.
