  • Just great!. A fair bit of work went into this, but a fantastic result. Well done.

  • how do you get 24 frames per second do you use a pugin or can the camera do that

  • name of the song?

  • A lot of work has gone into that, well done. It's a great piece!

  • This was AMAZING, the shots were done superbly :)

  • How is this camera for exporting to FCP?

  • @cleekfilms

you have to convert it to Prores 422, just google it ,canon has a plugin for FCP that does it

  • @cleekfilms Or just use Compressor to convert it to Prores

  • Nice. Everything before 2:12 felt like it was gonna cut to an old guy smoking a cigarette, overlooking the water, talking about how much the world has changed.

  • Wow, Nice video. really like the shots in NY and NJ. By any change, did you use CS4 to put this video together? If yes, would love to know what export settings to use in premiere pro. I'm having trouble on what setting to use and can't seem to find the right one.

  • @VIPTouge

    sorry but i use FCP

  • @VIPTouge Let me know if you find out friend, I don't know either :/

  • How exactly do you convert it to 24 fps?

What kind of consequences does that involve in the final video file?

  • what's the name of the first song (first 2 minutes? Well done!

  • how could any of this be bad?...

  • Brilliant!

  • i think these are exceptionally well framed shots

  • nice moody soundtracks, just like a horror film. where can one buy such nice music? ps. the focal blur... is that done in post with after effects or is that done with shift lens? good job!

  • everyone with this camera seems to have great film making skills

  • Awesome. What is the first (orchestral) track?

  • wow,im loving the quality. nice vid

  • This was outstanding.

  • amazing vidéo 5 stars

  • the swing tilt you used was what focal ?

  • 45mm 2.8

  • How did you convert it to 24fps. What software did you use?

  • How could you have shot 24fps? I thought this camera only shoots 30fps

  • did not shoot at 24, did it by mistake before i edited trough Cinema tools, i should have done after cutting everything @30.

i learned my lesson though, hopefully soon canon will solve that 30 to 24 problem

  • Even though he did not shoot in 24fps...the new 5D firmware update allows you to.

  • It doez look more cinematiq shot like this.

  • Why shoot in 24fps and not 30 ???

  • In some shot the 24p strobing (jitter) is very strong. I personaly do not like that jitter and aways try to shoot 30p if it is not for film printout. My opinion only, I know most will dissagree with me...

  • that was part of the test here, and i must say you are right (missing 6 frames) but i have seen better conversions on the web.

personally i wish i didn't have to do it at all.. still waiting for canon to address it in an update, i actually think 24 is more cinematic then the "video like" 30 fps,

canon should give us the option to choose.

  • 1080P@ 23.98 trough cinema tools.

this is a very commpress version for youtube.

the original is @ Prores 422, much cleaner with no noise at all.

  • yeah you can really see the compression artifacts in full screen, which is why i hate when people put it to full screen it destroys the quality. I have seen un recompressed (if that is a word) straight from the camera clips and at full screen they are amazing. My hfs100 is very amazing too and almost meets the level of sharpness of the mark II

  • is this 1080 or 720

  • very nice vid.

  • I really like it, great choice of music
