I love the books too. Just too bad that Terry Goodkind "borrowed" most of his ideas from Robert Jordon's The Wheel of Time, series. Don't flame me, just read both the series. It's pathetic how much he stole. The Sword of Truth is Jordan's... I mean, Goodkind's crowning achievement.

Well, this show doesn't follow the book at all, ex. His father died before the book even started.. He had memorized the book of counted shadows and destroyed it before the book started.. He was the one to find out zed was the wizard, not kahlan, in the book richard was great friends with zed and that's just a few things.. this show is almost a completely different story. Just following very few main points
