this was really helpful thank you. What if the headings you want are in the second row of your excel sheet (like a second more specific headings) how do you make the mail merge use them as your recipients. Also, how to you put data in you mail merge that is not in the headings at all.

I go through the exact steps but for LABELS and it just gives me a blank page or throws in some NextRecord or AdressBlock - I do a find and replace and it replaces with (quotes) instead of >> - what a stupid program.

The source table will only contain one record. I keep opening a document that either has the fields names in brackets or one that is populated from the last record. Any ideas?

Thanks for the video, but I need more info. I'm using an Access table as the source. I have no problem inserting the fields, but I want the document to populate automatically with the Access info on open. I don't know how to save the template so that as it opens it self-populates, and then re-populate with the new data when re-opened.
