The Chronic is definitely the pinnacle of G-Funk,

Uncle Sam's Curse was decent there's only a few songs that I really liked form that album.

Personally, I've been digging underground G-Funk for a while. You should look into LSD's "Fully Strapped" album, Mr. Shadow's "Born Without a Konscience" and a few others
