Pentagon papers is very interesting and how Nixon was handling it. The papers didnt incriminate Nixon at all, but did Kennedy and Johnson...but Nixon as president had a resposibility to choose sides and handle it. So with no (real) threat of damage to himself since the papers had nothing to do with him, Nixon was in a position of his own choosing! Of defending the other presidents in a sense, while the dems fought it out from within their own party. Good suff!
