Ive seen in previos videos them doing an inspection on kingda ka. It showed how rusty the tracks were, in this video it showed a pic from the top of the ttd and its tracks were clean! So no way in hell am i ever riding kingda ka!!!

its okay. My friend went to Cedar Point last weekend (i'm pissed b.c i ddnt get to go) but my friend said u can feel the speed difference and the height difference. he said the ending was boring wiit out the 2nd hill. But he said the stop light thing was cool. He said it was fun but he rather have lap bars and it ddnt feel that safe wit the lap bar. he still likes kingda ka better but he said ttd is prety cool. I have to say dragster because 30ft feet and 8 miles per hour doesn't do much. And dragster has a theme like the lights the finish sign top thrill dragster all the way
Keep in mind that TTD's lap bar is reinforced with several systems to prevent it from coming lose in a simple failure, so KK isn't necessarily much safer.
I heard that you can't be taller than 6 ft. onthe Kingda Ka because your neck might snap back. Plus Top Thrill Dragster has a better theme, racing. What's the KK's theme, Japan? China? The Dragster has a racing color and like what pattym9182 said, there's no difference in acceleration. The Dragster is way better because it is at the World's best amusement park, Cedar Point. Dragster RULES!
I like Kingda Ka more, the ride is taller and faster, I like the colors, green is my favorite color, and most importanly because I live much closer to Kingda Ka then TDD.
First off, you really can't even feel a difference in the acceleration. And a 36 foot difference doesn't matter when you're already 400 feet high.
Plus Kingda Ka is treated just like your average coaster in an average setting.
Dragster is put in the center of the park, with a whole section of seats for people to watch it. Plus, with the lap bars, you can turn and wave to the people watching you. Kingda Ka lacks in both.

I will have to remind you a few things.
Stealth is actually the latest of the 3, Top Thrill Dragster was made in 2003, Kingda Ka in 2005, and Stealth in 2006.
Also, the lap bars are reinforced by several locks as I said in an earlier post, so Kingda Ka isn't necessarily much safer.
Just a side note, I don't believe you have rode Top Thrill Dragster yourself, so please do that before comparing.

Yes Xcelerator was the first Hydraulically launched coaster from Intamin, Top Thrill Dragster was the first strata.
