Whether or not Global Warming is a hoax it is still in our best interest to ween out our dependency on oil in general. Oil is a limited, non-renewable resource, nothing more than a dead end and if we drill in Alaska it would only increase our dependence on oil (and in the long run increase our dependence on foreign oil).

You can drill right here at home there is plenty of oil in the USA but thanks to Capitalism its to expensive to drill in USA soil that is why USA has to go fuck up other countries to get their oil. Also they are scared as hell that the Oil countries will begin selling oil in euros something Iraq wanted to do and Iran is contemplating there for Iraq war began.
