This video is meant to dissuade rapists from raping? Pfffftt! Idiots! By definition, rapists are doing what they do because they are bad people. It's not a lack of training, or information. As if they don't fucking know any better? God, our military is full of dumb shitheads at the top.
My friend next to me wants me to pass this message on: "If I was in the army I might have raped her myself, since she's so hot. Rape isn't that big of a deal. it's just having sex with a woman who wants it, but doesn't show it, so they need to be forced to let up. It just gets them ready for long term relationships by loosening up their vaginas."
It's really sad when a woman signs up to defend her country then ends up being raped by the person who is supposed to have her back in war. If the military really wanted this to end they would prosecute more cases instead of covering it up. if there were more prosecutions then maybe a potential rapist would stop before he started because of consequence
The only problem I have with the content of this video is that the lady who was murdered it was commented that she should have been reassigned well actually the perp should have been reassigned ...to jail!! I had to be "reassigned" when I was assaulted..why should I have to be moved away from my friends and familiarity it should be the perp moved away.....
Not to mention the servicemen raped or sexually assaulted by Saudi Arabs in Bahrain and elsewhere since way before 9/11. MST was also happening to male servicemembers in the 1990s, but underreported and covered up.
blame it on the alco alco alcohol...bullshit.....i love how the air force handles it's MST issues. they often do a very good job at quickly blaming the victim and then sweeping it under the carpet as fast as possible. i call bullshit on that, it's called breeding violence in man.
Why does the military tell women to " avoid stupid mistakes" instead of telling men, NO means NO, and stressing men's responisiblity? I live in Korea and see the psa's and it's ALWAYS directed at the victims not the criminals.
It's important to highlight that men also are sexually assaulted. The hype makes it out as a women's issue, when it is really a violence/public health issue. Male victims are often forgotten in this arena, and they tend to report even less than women do because of the stigma.
