if one would like to make a hole in on side of an object like a window. how do i get the hole / window in the wall? iff been tinkering with my layout all day, and have no clue how to make that opening in my wall

@9nova6 use the Boolean modifier. Its located under the "Create" tab, in "Extended Primitives" roll-out.

C4D is the preferred favourite in the cod community so if you want more views I'd go that way.

@dYnRfilms Of course there are more modeling capabilities with 3ds Max as Cinema 4d Modeling is based around nurbs, not to mention Vray is very powerful. But as I referred to the cod community, lots of people within it are new to the whole 3d program concept, and so of course Cinema 4d is going to be the obvious choice. Not to mention it's more user friendly for abstract shapes when as I said above, 3ds max is aimed more at the industry as a modeling program.

@Milkshakman your right but also wrong. 3D is abit over used now..and in the complete wrong way. in the cod community every video has some sort of 3D text or intro. the community is fairly new to the 3D scene; their just abusing it in the wrong way with no originality.
