  • The institution of marriage was between a man and a woman, which precedes the notion of bringing forth a child. Nowhere in that institution was it established that a relationship between man and a man or a woman and a woman recognized. The argument is whether this should be changed - which is his point: you can't change the principal. He is right on, 100%. I defended this in 463 characters. You used a lot more to debunk it. Who is the better debater here? Me.

  • If Keyes is king of BS, Obabo is king of demagoguery

  • LOL, the moderator is constantly trying to interrupt him since he even started answering the question. Alan Keyes is probably the most intelligent politician i've ever seen

  • I CAN PROVE ALAN KEYES CLAIMS

  • OMG a politician spoke in full sentences, I can't cope...

  • Mr. Keyes presents a strong argument against gay marriage. The institution of marriage was founded so men and women could maintain and organize the social, physical, and emotional responsibilities that result from procreation.

  • i think he sounds masterful..

  • He's actually correct. You are just skewed by your personal views.

  • alan keyes is a genius

  • alan keys is a house slave uncle tom nigga he try 2 do everythin 2 get in good wit the whte man he forgets who he is

  • not BS at all, the interviewer thinks he's cornered him and Keyes explains. In principle marriage is between a man and a woman because of (as supported by) pro creation. the principle is upheld as long it's marriage between a man and woman. the proof is common sense. marriage is and was originally about unifying two households and producing children. That's only possible between a man and a woman. I like how it looks like Keyes has Obama really thinking in this interview. Incest wouldn't be prob

  • @willberthepig able and that's a bit of BS from Keyes. His logic wasn't wrong though. It was just wrong of him to say. His primary argument is a very strong one though so the interviewer (whose out to get him) brings up a weaker point he made in the past. Kind of a dirty tactic. also obama doesn't defend, or is he asked to defend, his position. Instead he attacks Keyes'. I'd like to see Obama's defense instead of him blowing off the question.

  • By the way, America, your opportunity to pick decent men for your leaders has now passed. The part coming is where you get nuked down to bedrock and turned into a 3000 mile wide plain of radioactive glass that glows at night. Good luck with all that.

  • Keyes is one of the worst pieces of racist propaganda you will ever encounter because he is black and he is a genius. The fact that blacks can produce people of genius means that blacks don't need apologetics. If they don't have apologetics then they cannot blame whites for their conditions around the world. If they can't blame whites then they have to take responsibility for their own lives. Most black people will never do that. Thus, they hate Keyes and anyone like him.

  • Keyes was always too smart to be in politics. The average IQ in the United States according to standardized testing is 96 as of this year. (2011) That means the majority of the vegetables in that doomed land score within 5 points of Koko the Sign Language Gorilla.(91 administered by clinical psychologists) You can't have a free republic where the average IQ is on par with a large silverback gorilla. The Founding Fathers would tell you point blank the U.S. needs to be closed down and abandoned.

  • That was interesting.

  • Keyes does mo to promote abortion than anyone else on Earth. Satan works in mysterious ways too. Keyes works directly for Satan and I can prove it.

  • KEYS IS THE MAN!

  • Part preacher, part douche, part academic.

  • is this keyes dude a christian, if he is, then there's no reason in listening to him speak

  • @speedx50

Explain how his opinion is just less worthy because he is a christian??

What a fucking moron, if you listen to his argument, he is completely right, and he has a point. Typical liberal behavior; "I'm right, therefore other opinions are not important"

  • @iratxoflores this is the same christian who believes homosexuality will lead to incest, well the bible supports it so he should support it too right? one of the main reasons NOT to take christians seriously is because they have such irrational thoughts and mindsets. btw i HAVE listened to his argument and i understand it and he STILL falls short. and its typical republican behavior to say "im right, therefore other opinions are not important".

  • @speedx50

Homosexuality, and other behavior that liberals love to promote is immoral and it leads to a decadent society. That's not an opinion, Just turn on the TV and tell me what you see. Do you think we are a more happier and more free society than 60-70 years ago? We never tolerated this behavior before, and now that we do so the consequences are tangible.

  • @iratxoflores of course we're more happier and more free than 60-70 years ago? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? i dont see a whole lot of homophobic ads when im walking down the street or homophobic commercials on TV, have you? no one's telling anyone that they "should" act gay, we're just fighting for our rights, thats all. what evidence do you even have that homosexuality is immoral (the bible doesn't count)

  • @speedx50 What the hell are you talking about? sitcoms, TV shows, popstars, movie stars, and pretty much all the mainstream TV are very PRO GAY. If you state that you dislike gay people, either in school or any public place, you are immediately relegated as a "bigot" successfully turning any argument for your defense as irrelevant.

  • @iratxoflores what if someone said that they didnt like hanging around black people, would you automatically think they are racist? i mean for real.... i really dont care if you dont like gay people, there are people that I dont like hanging out with, that doesn't mean im gonna start a movement that takes away rights from that particular group of people

  • @speedx50

The government has no authority to issue marriage certificates, for gay or hetero couples, its unconstitutional. Marriage is a private contract USUALLY signed by two people and a religious ceremony is involved, Marriage is a social issue NOT a government issue.

  • Alan Keyes is correct, as usual, in the minute but is grossly wrong in the macro. Yes, not knowing who your brother is allows for incest. No, homosexuality isn't anything more than incidentally related to the prior logic.

  • I find it very dissapointing that many people don't have the capacities to understand his points, and write him off as a bullshitter or crazy. The fact of the matter is, most people simply aren't smart enough to get his points. Alan Keyes is a very, very intelligent man. The level of discussion in American politics has been reduced to character defamation and not enough time to fully explain your points. "Twitter politics" as I like to call it.

  • @JudokaJames dude is full of BS... bottom line! He thinks he's the most intelligent in the world... and he'll never lose an argument... even when it's flawed, he'll keep on going...

I find him interesting to watch and listen to... I've watched lots of his videos on youtube... and they all have one thing in common, BS!!!

  • @experiment0003

Simply calling it BS doesn't refute any of it. If you aren't on a level where you can understand it, put yourself on a higher intellectual level through education, and you might find that some of that "BS" starts to make pretty good sense. I do not necessarily agree with this man on all points, but I acknowledge that he is the only modern American politician that can engage in this level of debate. Period.

  • @JudokaJames It wasn't my intention to refute anything, and throwing cheap shots at me won't refute the fact that I feel, as well as millions of people, that he is full of BS!

But if I must... Keyes suggesting that adoption by gay couples will somehow lead to incest is laughable... his reasoning is flawed, but his attempt to save face is what makes him full of BS. Making a conscious willful effort to hide the identity of a biological father is NOT an exclusive province of gay couples! BS!!

  • @JudokaJames "the only modern American politician that can engage in this level of debate. Period."

You must not get out much.....plenty of other politicians try to redefine the entire debate just like keyes.

How do you suppose he's dealing with his own lesbian daughter?

  • Alan Keyes destroyed the host and Obama with his logic. Wow what a great debater and man of knowledge

  • I think what he's saying is that originally marriage wasn't about love. It was usually arranged by families for their children. Women were given, along with their dowries, as gifts to the parents of the men. Not that that kind of primitive, anti-woman history and definition of the point of marriage is anything to base a modern society on lol.

  • oh i get it. You don't understand what he's saying. That's why you think its BS.

  • @cvaldary123 No, it's bs because it's specious. We get it. It just doesn't hold up as an argument.

  • Sex happens because two people are attracted to one another. Marriage happens to establish children, family, power, status, dynasty etc. Marriage doesn't happen because two people are attracted to one another. If attraction is the founding principle then monogamy makes no sense.

  • @brennyde Marriage happens because two adult citizens agree to marry each other. Get a clue, religitard.

  • @gabbababble Commenting on the comments in the video referring to origins of marriage. Please don't slander in ignorance. The origins of marriage are not "two adult citizens agree to marry each other". Citizenship as an institution began with the Roman empire which originated a long time after marriage did.

  • @brennyde Hineybunch? Your post is in the present tense. If we were to keep to the ancient, religious traditions of marriage, a women would bea man's property, a man could have several wives, slaves couldn't marry, blacks couldn't marry whites, Jews couldn't marry Christians and so on. Intelligent conservatism consists in examining traditions and understanding what is worth preserving and what is not. Just saying "nothing can change" is crank, not conservative.

  • This isn't bs all he is saying is that biologically gay marriage doesn't make sense so it shouldn't exist.

  • 04:21 such complete logic fail...

  • Alan Keyes is a brilliant man

  • mans a genius..

to the person who thinks its BS, are you saying that of all species, we are the only ones that only interact for physical reasons, and that giving birth is an accident..?!?!

that deep in us there does not reside an urge for survival.. of our species...procreation is IN built..

you actually justify stereotypes that gays are only about illicit pleasures..

no.. YOU prove that for the rest of us its just physical..

  • Alan Keyes is very bright.

  • A Catholic Negro promoting tradition.......PRICELESS!!!!

  • @EGarrett01 I'll prove it. The definition of marriage in Western/Christian Civilization (as opposed to the Islamic definition or any other) is based on its first mention in the Bible, Genesis 2:24: 'Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh'. Marriage is thus a) between a man and a woman and b) results in procreation. 'Physical attraction', the criteria you give for marriage, is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible. End of.

  • @historypoliticsbb "Marriage is thus"

"End of"...only in your mind. We are not a theocracy. The Bible does not define legal marriage. Thanks for playing....try again.

  • @clubindiana4 Not in 'only' in my mind. In the Bible like I just stated, and, as it happens, according to the laws in most states in the USA and around the world. And every opinion poll on the subject, from ABC to Quinnipiac Uni. shows people believe marriage is between a man and a woman. So no, not 'only' in my mind. I know the USA is not a theocracy. Thanks. The Bible does define marriage. So what if it doesn't use the word 'legal'. That's irrelevant. It defines marriage clearly. Your turn.

  • @historypoliticsbb "In the Bible like I just stated"

Of course.....and a biblical definition of marriage would be a blatant violation of our separation of church and state. Not to mention the glaringly obvious fact that no religion is required to get married.

"And every opinion poll on the subject"

Apparently you must have omitted all the polls that dispute your findings. The most credible polling organization in the country (Gallop) reported that support for SSM passed 50% last year.

  • @clubindiana4 Regardless of the opinion polls my (you choose the ones that suit you obviously), I still defeated your point that marriage being between a man and a woman was 'only' in my mind. The Bible states it, and for over a thousand years that has been its definition in Western Civilization. It may be uncomfortable for you, but it's a fact nonetheless. Separation of church and state means exactly that. It does not mean that Christians are not allowed to legislate according to their views.

  • @clubindiana4 (cont.) In no way does the US Constitution legislate against religion, and there's no way you can demonstrate that it does. What Creator were the founders referring to anyway? 95% of the country were Christian at the time of the declaration. To prohibit religious people giving their views would be a violation of the First Amendment.

  • @historypoliticsbb You stand on a sanctimonious pedestal afforded to you through constitutional protection of choice......and try to rationalize picking and choosing who you think deserves Liberty.

You are an abortion of American values.

  • @clubindiana4 Ah, there you have it. I responded to all of your questions, politely and backed with evidence. So you resort to calling me names. The howling intolerance of liberals always comes as a shock given they talk of 'equality' and 'human rights'. But they don't tolerate those who disagree. I don't know what 'American values' you're referring to. But I adhere to the Constitution.

  • @historypoliticsbb "But they don't tolerate those who disagree"

Even more importantly......liberals don't intentionally hinder those we disagree with from achieving equality and liberty.

    "I adhere to the Constitution"

How does that affect your opinion on Keyes? The Constitution says he belongs out in my cotton field!

  • @clubindiana4 And now you've completely turned the debate away from gay marriage. I'll leave others to decide who won this debate.

  • @historypoliticsbb Let me know what you find out down at the Court House.

  • @clubindiana4 (cont.) Apparently, 'I'm an abortion of American values'. Given that I don't know your stance on abortion, I don't know whether or not to take that as a compliment.

  • @historypoliticsbb Tell you what.....go down to your local Court House and ask them if religion is required to purchase a legal marriage license.

Religious Marriage only happens in your mind. It's a figment of your imagination.

Jews, Atheists, Satanists, Heathens of any sort can enjoy this status that you CLAIM is owned by the Bible (but pre-dates the Bible?).

    Your ration is hopelessly flawed.

  • Dr. Alan Keyes - PhD in Government from Harvard University.

  • @historypoliticsbb "PhD in Government from Harvard University."

And still....he can't seem to grasp the meaning of Traditional Marriage. What meaning could Traditional Marriage possibly hold for a Negro like Keyes? His version of Traditional Marriage included a broom stick jump followed by a barbeque.

Civil Union would have been ple4nty good enough for non-whites.......but, it's too late now....marriage has been redefined. There is really no rational reason to not include gays.

  • @clubindiana4 What on earth are you talking about? Alan Keyes is a Catholic, he understands perfectly well the definition of marriage. The Bible states it is between a man and a woman, not a white man and a white woman. I can only presume that you are a racialist.

  • @historypoliticsbb Im no racist.....just telling the truth. Keyes wasn't even allowed to walk in the front door of a Catholic Church until recently. Black Catholics! LOL....thats kinda like Jewish Nazi's!!!!

You want gays to stay in "their place" while you promote this kind of heresy? How silly!

  • @clubindiana4 Not wanting to redefine the word marriage does not mean you want to keep gays in "their place" (why the quotation marks btw?). Surely you can't be illogical enough to believe that. There are approximately 2 million Black Catholics in the USA, and about 200 million Black Catholics worldwide - the Holy See has never discriminated against people of colour. Your ignorance regarding the history of the Catholic Church is clear. And what 'heresy' was I promoting?

  • @historypoliticsbb "the Holy See has never discriminated against people of colour."

Of course not......Popes owned slaves, but Im sure they were very sweet to them!

"Not wanting to redefine the word marriage"

You mean the word they already redefined to accommodate non-whites?

  • Mr. Keyes is giving a voice to a much larger segment of society than many would imagine. He does not and never has spouted infringement of personal liberty.

  • Bwah ha ha! Too fucking funy. A black man who wants to deny rights to other human beings. LOL...good one!! King of BS?? You betcha!

  • Obama got OWNED

  • Keyes is brilliant and tells the truth.

  • Go Alan Go! he is 100% right

  • without watching this specific video of alan keyes and having only watched one video of him before i knew the title should be 'alan keyes - my BS understanding of what he says' lol.

  • @maxgunn555 It's not a misunderstanding, the argument is retarded. Infertile people cannot procreate in principle as the DEFINITION of infertile is not being able to procreate.

  • @hitballfootler wait remind me what his argument is. alan keyes is against gays i know that. and i know that this video maker is against alan keyes.

  • I love how he goes on about reason yet advocates teaching intelligent design, and aside from being against gay-marriage (which is a perfectly respectable opinion), he is also an outright homophobe as is apparent in for instance his comments on Dick Cheney's daughter.

Alan Keyes may _seem_ smart in this video, but in my mind he is as stupid as most religious fundamentalists. His supporters go on about how he speaks for freedom and whatnot. Clearly, he supports freedom only for some and not all.

  • @LucidCatnap You are being intolerant and lumping all Christians together. Its the same old argument, we have differing worldviews on right and wrong and you feel we are intolerant and bigoted, and we feel that with most people of your ilk, anything goes, if it feels good do it. The mentality of culture today is " I hsve a right to do what makes me happy, regardless of the consequences to society at large.

  • @logicnreason1 Freedom also entails the freedom to do something others may not approve of. What does anyone else's homosexuality have to do with you, and what ''consequences'' does two consenting, homosexual adults in a relationship have to society?

I'm not lumping all Christians together, merely the ones who wish to use their beliefs as policy, which in America is more normal than not, unfortunately. You're entitled to your religion, and homosexuals are entitled to their sexuality.

  • @logicnreason1 Democrats/progressives are usually criticized for big government by the republicans, yet the republicans are no different themselves in that they want to control people's private lives. You essentially choose between a government controlling your economy and a government controlling your personal liberties.

Albeit in different spheres, both views are fundamentally against the principle of liberty.

  • Actually despite his vast vocabulary I can understand him well despite having to rewind 2-3 times. I realize what the problem with masked Id is but it does not contribute towards the factor of having incest with your brother or sister. This only becomes as such once the child is an adolence of sexual maturirity and has the bearing fact that he is not genetically related to his or her/brother. Although if a single mother bears he/she are half brothers/sisters.So incest is not possible

  • @pureefficient Without the notion that you are not related in mind. Although despite having homosexual or lesbian parents the child can easily assume that he may be related to either of his parents along with his/her brother/sister. Although this is only a problem if a child is adopted that does not relate to either parent in which case during the stage of sexual maturity he/she may decide to do so with her or his brother but such a situation can be applicable to straight couples 2

  • Who ever posted this is an idiot. This man is extremely smart. You don't get it.

  • This guy has more to say in one sentence, than that moron sitting next to him does in three teleprompter read speeches.

  • awesome!

  • Wait, so it's overspoken BS because you're too ignorant to understand him? Read a philosophy book or two, you fool. You're so damn STUPID It's infuriating, are all liberals as ignorant as you?

  • Wait, so it's overspoken BS because you're too ignorant to understand him? Read a philosophy book or two, you fool.

  • So...marriage is only about having babies?? Thats..um...a pretty miserable marriage.

  • Dude is spot on.

  • See what's happened, EGarrett? People are watching this video because Keyes makes sense, and voters are desperate to find ANYONE who makes sense and has solutions. I'll bet you didn't realize that when you posted this video, and it's without question because you are a moronic clown.

  • demagog VS intellectual = 0 : 1

  • @luckyStrike89ru I was here last year and i still see the same praise for Keyes. What is the reason exactly why two 70 yr old cannot get married? Why can't they decide. Is there a non-religious answer to this? I doubt it.

  • Often times I am influenced greatly by the formidable albeit impromptu urge to defecate in my pants due to the proximity of the bathroom generating an unacceptable amount of effort regarding direct travel.

  • No seriously do people think a lofty vernacular makes you smart?

  • Wow this guy is good at decorating bullshit

  • @96QQB Absolutely

  • Marriage = natural union. A union that can, by design, perpetuate humanity - Only in these disintegrating days of entropic, self-indulgent philosphy-priests could "prove it" serve as a viable retort to the intuitively obvious. Only in this fools nation, over bred with hive-minded idiots, is any value given to question that the male and female are made for one another. Keyes' only problem: he speaks over the heads of most people who may otherwise be enlightened.

  • Smart, perhaps. Misguided, probably

  • He's talking himself out of an hole, but boy can he do it intelligently. I think the US picked the wrong guy here.

  • LOL, look how smug the moderator gets when he asks that if its irrelevant if people are beyond their child bearing age and Keyes sees right through the week ass argument and moderator gets put into his place, even Obama sits like a little quiet pansy. The reason for this is because he didnt conform to the political correction and said the obvious truth, uncomfortable to some but its the truth. I commend him for it. Very intelligent and concise ANSWER.

  • lol, over speaks? He pretty much owns the argument with logical points, perfectly said.

Gay marriage is illogical on all degrees. I dont know how can anyone with a reasonable mind think that gay marriage is right and natural, thats crazy. How did you get here? Exactly, so STFU.

  • The bible is my answer in response to proving it is for procreation

  • Alan Keyes, finally someone who will not conform to the views of our diluted american culture. A man who ignores the sneers and laughs and giggles of uncomfortable onlookers and voters and continues to speak out against the imorality of our nation. The hard truth is usually uncomfortable, but when you open your heart, humble yourself to god and ask him to show you.. then and only then will you recieve the truth.

  • when has a man ever made another man pregnant, and when has a female ever made another female pregnant. need i say or ask more.......i have to stoop to this level, i'm sorry.......you ignorant fuck.... sincerely, your complete stranger, Common Sense ;)

  • THANK YOU! Someone recognizes this kid is an idiot. I honestly can't understand why people think he's smart. He just uses big words, rambles, and talks to everyone like a child. He may be book smart, but anyone can read a book. He lacks natural intelligence. By the way, how long can he keep his eyebrows raised to keep that condescending face? That's humanly impossible. Haha.

  • @TheTrueDefinition Alan keyes is a genius He made a intelligent, factual argument against homosexual marriage, you haven't proven him wrong or anything, just called him names. It seems your the real idiot.

  • @MrBinieam He's setting arbitrary constraints who, in principle, can have kids. One could say, in principle, two humans can have kids. One would not be lying and this would include gays. In principle, two FERTILE people can have kids. Infertile couples are in the same boat as gays. Alan, of course, BS's his way around it. America accepts those who are married and don't want/can't have kids. The obligation to have kids is no longer relevant. But god forbid we give poor kids in orphanages a home.

  • Alan keyes reminds me of Ron Paul but Ron Paul is less agressive

  • Comment removed

  • I like how Obama just casually takes apart Keyes' argument that adoption leads to incest. I'm really glad this intelligent man is the President of the United States! We could be doing a whole lot worse.

  • That's enough Alan, back to the field, there's cotton to pick.

  • alan keyes is a comedian

  • "I don't believe your logic was that complicated, it was just wrong."

    LOL

  • Uncle Ruckus is the animated version of Alan Keyes. Find an Uncle Ruckus video, and draw your own conclusions.

  • @deliciousmorton-Sorry, he's way too intelligent to act and talk stereotypical black.

  • @SuperboyXX0018 Thank you for revealing your true feelings about black people. At least now you can't make the argument that you're not racist because you support Alan Keyes. I hope everybody reads your comment.

  • @deliciousmorton-I'm not racist, and i know black people better than you do. Black people in America are a dumbed down and negative people, not all, but in general. They have established a negative culture(the street culture or Hip Hop culture), which has turned most into a bunch of violent and ignorant buffoons. There are two types of blacks that make black people look bad, the Ghetto Blacks, and old school racial minded black men like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

  • @SuperboyXX0018 You make such generalized, blanket statements about people of a certain race, by saying things like "most of them" are this or that way"...so on and so forth. Then you expect people to believe that you are not racist. Who are you trying to kid?

  • @deliciousmorton-Alan Keyes is too intelligent to be dumbed down by racism(like a Al Sharpton) and the cult of "being black". He is also a man of principal. Case in point, he's superior in intelligence and morality to the stereotypical black person(like a Bernard Hopkins or Al Sharpton), that is why some of them(or most) call him an uncle tom.

  • @SuperboyXX0018 Al Sharpton has lot done a lot for civil rights (even if you disagree with many of his ideas) but Alan keys disowned his daughter! for being gay. That to me is unacceptable ,hell even Dick Chaney still had his around. Alan Keys is the extreme and doesn't practice what he preaches.

  • @blueiguy1-Al Sharpton means well(as far as ending prejudice against blacks) but at the same time spews out ignorance(his Michael Jackson comments are a great recent example) and hate(towards whites). He is delusional, he's not someone at all to look up to. As for Keyes disowning his daughter, i heard he said it was a lie.

  • @SuperboyXX0018 I have my problems with Al but much of it is his EGO not what he says. But I hope Alan Keys didn't do it . I think he scares people off to much

  • @blueiguy1-People don't like Keyes because people are conditioned to be lied to, that's why they like Obama instead. Alan Keyes tells the truth, but people are so dumbed down and ignorant they view his beliefs as nonsense.

  • @SuperboyXX0018 You just want white people to support the black guy who sucks up to the white man. We know your game.

  • @deliciousmorton-No, Alan Keyes does not suck up to white people, where is proof of this?

  • @SuperboyXX0018 the fact that a racist white (like yourself) would support him.

  • @deliciousmorton-I'm not racist! Alan Keyes is a brilliant and principal man that people should listen to. It's dumbed down and ignorant people like yourself that are the problem with society.

  • @SuperboyXX0018 You admit that you stereotype black people, yet you say that you're not racist.

  • Alan keyes is the best. I would prefer him as president then Obama and I'm not even American.

  • "Your logic wasn't complicated, it was just wrong."

    Thank you Mr. President!

  • @Anrkist713 Right! The "Logic" behind "Gay" Marriage is so stupid we shouldn't even have to discuss it. I'm glad Mr. Keyes is able to speak out for Marriage. He isn't just trying to please everybody and talk jibber so he can secure an Election.

  • I'll prove it.

Throughout human history, marriage in its root form was not subject to individual choice. Rather, marriages were socially arranged - usually by the families involved - to enforce:

    1) the perpetuation of the society into future generations by means of reproduction,

    2) to determine inheritance rights,

    3) to merge assets for raising children

At no point were individual preferences considered since society's needs took priority over individual wants.

    Keyes is right.

  • Alan Keyes for president!

  • Just because a couple can't have a baby doesn't mean that they can be married. There are heterosexual couples that can't have children together. Does that mean that they can't be married. What about people with androgen insensitivity syndrome. There are actually people that are genetically male, and they look completely female. Where do they fit in. Who the hell do they marry??? A lot of people don't fit in the gender box. There are hermaphrodites that exist too.

  • That was awesome! Keyes actually has a brain and can speak! And his answer was anything but BS, it was extrememly intelligent. If the potential to procreate is what gave rise to the institution of marraige in the first place, then the ability to procreate (in principle) is irrelevant. He's exactly right! Two men can't have a baby, therefore, why get married? What's the point? Bravo Mr. Keyes.

  • WHERE is Barrys teleprompter? Keyes is everything obama isn't, honest, decent, classy, articulate, etc. Barry is nothing without his teleprompter full of lies...

  • Keyes would be doing a MUCH better job than the USURPER obama.

  • how do fucks like these graduate from law school or high school for that matter?

  • and if we still considered principles there would be no biracial children (this is of course addressed to Mr. Keyes, because his wife apparently has nutjob jungle fever) and handicapped people would serve no purpose and therefore be extinguished.

  • U mentioned the fact that marriage is just based on physical attraction in 1:23, logically if people were just attracted to each other physically then what is the point in the marriage? You are true in saying that there has to be physical attraction sure, but the point of a marriage is to be able to institute a family unit, and Mr. Keyes is saying in order to create a natural family unit a man and woman must be joined together, he stated this with no biggotry or bashing, he is only stating fact.

  • we don't equate religion with law in this country. if you don't like it then go somewhere else.

  • Comment removed

  • Alan Keyes, a very intelligent man.

  • Obama said that he agree with his logic and said at the end that it was wrong ... hmmm he does have a hard time getting from a to b

  • Try and connect building blocks that were meant to connect and than try and connect building blocks that are not meant to connect. Same concept. Men and women were created together to procreate. Without sperm and an egg NO BABY.

  • DAm Dr. Alan Keyes is the smartest person i have ever heard speak

  • @4everNina93 i love him too. He is pure logic and his arguments are indisputable. He should have his own country for citizens that have common sense and use logic. America is not ready for guys like him.

  • "the only way to be a real Christian is to be obedient to the word of God". We're living the New Testament not old. And in the words of Jesus "Thou without sin cast the first stone, love your enemies" etc. So just don't go back to the old testament as we're nowhere near those times anymore. Try to hold something against God according to the New Testament. Since we're not living the Old Testament, you wouldn't understand the reasons for how things were back then. For 1, Jesus hadn't come yet.

  • "and mr. keyes, will then back off and say; well you didn't quite catch the comma there, and the qualifier here and the coda there."

best line in the whole thing! lmao

  • @Persuccion2013 As much EXPLAINING as I've HAD to do to those who disagree with Mr. Keyes point. It seems I'll HAVE to do it YET again! Yes, he HAS to say that because YOU can only hear what YOU WANT TO hear -clearly, all else escapes you. Mr. Keyes makes perfect sense to "those who understand logic!" -quote taken from the clever edit done on this post. Find the WHOLE debate. Mr Keyes blows Obama out of the water right after the chicanerous edit!

  • @BarzOnTheWindow1 yes i agree, alan keys is very logical, people heear what they want to here what more can i say

  • I can't get enough of this man. He preaches the gospel as a bright light in the midst of darkness. Keep it up, Brother!!

  • Undoubtedly, Alan Keyes is a brilliant man and the author of this video is a fag. Thanks for sharing though.

  • BRILLIANT, he defend his point in the only way it possible. and obama didnt knew how to tackle it, and here its how:

Marriage is the issue here, we should question what does mean, what does marriage has done to our society, and what is doing now. This is the actual problem, and that's what both are looking over. But at least Keyes immediately identify it and defend it.

During the middle ages, ongoing debates about the Christianity of people that have bird's heads was a serious and legit topic.

  • Keynes might be brillant but he doesnt have a friendly face!! Obama is much more cooler

  • If you look Obama doesn't even understand the point Keyes is making, it goes over his head.

  • straw man keyes denies this is the same thing for adoption...look at how the audience laughed at his BS

  • Imagine if Keyes was president. He would not need a teleprompter! This guy is a great speaker who has morals! But, this nation does not know how to discern and chose a fool for president.

  • The only reason anyone could be against Alan Keyes is because 1, Alan is black, and 2 Alan has morals (something Obama knows NOTHING about). Anyone who stands against morals which come from God, is A COMPLETE FOOL.

This nation is lacking morals like no other. The person who put up this video is an ignorant fool.

  • "This nation is lacking morals like no other"

What a lie..look at china. You sir are a religious nutcase.

  • @kmcl11 The funniest part of your comment is, I didn't even say anything about religion. So now you admit morals have everything to do with religion? And atheists are evil? You sure are ignorant.

BTW, it is the USA that pedals extremely disgusting entertainment and immoral media to the rest of the world. Not a single country in this world has a hint of respect for the USA. There's a pretty damn good reason for that.

  • @JCojocaru You didnt have to mention religion. Read your comment about morality....read some history. What you wrote makes no sense. You didnt have to mention god. And i dont think atheists are evil. Its religion that is evil. I love how you ppl put words in someones mouth when you want to divert.
