Awesome! Delphino Pier is my favorite battle stage! =D I most always pick there for balloon battles. I'm not fond of picking there for coin runners though. Usually I pick Block Plaza for coin runners.

I let other people pick those stages for me. Instead, I pick Chain Chomp Wheel and Cookie Land, since people hardly ver choose those.

How did you do that trick after you get hit by the spiny shell, then you got a mini turbo boost without going?

That's known as a "standing Mini-Turbo." Hold down the brake and the gas buttons at the same time while you're stopped while turning left and right. You'll get sparks on the tires that'll get you back to top speed instantly.

I agree about the Sneakster, it's almost like playing a different game entirely. I will admit that if I'm going to use a middleweight inward-drifting bike (on Auto, I can't drive them for beans on Manual), chances are that it would be the Sneakster.

For heavyweights I tend to go with the Wario Bike, so I have no trouble on Manual for an outward drifting bike.

For lightweights, well...there are so many awesome karts in that weight class, I really don't think I much use bikes, truth be told

Try using the Sneakster on "Manual".

Drifting is such a pain with this bike.

This game costs $50. Some places sell them for $60 because it comes with a Wii Wheel.

That's a standing mini-turbo. You hold down the gas and the brake at the same time until sparks appear underneath the tires.

It works for Automatic in the exact same way it works for Manual.

I've tried it and it didn't work. The kart I was using (Flame Flyer) just slowly got back up to speed. For the most part, I stick to manual, but go back to Auto every once in a while.

I never spotted any difference. Well, with the Flame Flyer, its acceleration is so ridiculous that it probably doesn't immediately get back up to top speed, but it's still faster than accelerating normally.

It's usually not worth it though, because Sneakster on Automatic is the obvious alternative choice for competitive racers and it has decent acceleration.

I love the Sneakster! I always use it on automatic but you're right, it does take some getting used to. I didn't notice this until I was racing with a friend and I saw myself in his screen, but I tend to swerve almost constantly while I'm using it. How I manage to stay in control and do well that way is beyond me

Nah, it was the other way around. In Sonic Riders, I accidentally paused the game because my hand movement is the same as pressing the A button on the Wii Wheel to look behind me.
