The music is a bit loud when trying to listen to the dialog beneath it. I keep wanting to turn down the music in the "background" so I can listen to what they are actually saying.
when the credits came on for the ending song, i got the goosebumps once i saw it was the Face of Boe's theme, because i was thinking at the beginning 'oh wow. this is a really gorgeous song...i wonder if they'll credit it?....'
i really want one of these scarves now.....but made for a person of my size, since the original length would be maybe long enough to wrap around all of my person....
The good Doctor has tripped over that useful scarf on more occasions than he'd like to admit (e.g.: when he was fighting the Sontaran in "The Sontaran Experiment")!
Witty little videographer. Loved it! Wish the music was a little lower so I could hear the dialogue better, as I am a new Who-ite. I'm knitting a season 12 scarf, love this video!

@kingsley42 Ford Prefect is loosely based on the Doctor. Douglas Adams said himself that the only difference between Ford Prefect and the Doctor is if given a choice between going to a party or saving the world, Ford Prefect would choose to go to the party, while the Doctor would choose to save the world.
tom baker the best doctor ,liked the rest ,tom is the best, I myself have a 12 and 15 foot and a 25 foot purple and maroon , the problem is only a scant few people know what they are, thank god no harry potter coments yet , but evry now and then i'll find sombody out with their scarf too.
It's amazing when you think of it how many times the scarf has been useful. It's been used as another distraction in Deadly Assassin episode and used to trip over a certain arch nemisis in Logoopolis. I wish I would have met Tom Baker. But I probably won't be able to now he's older. But I did meet McCoy in 1989.
very nice job. i enjoyed it. thank you. toward the end where the doctor and sarah (in a white dress) were escaping from a building - which episode was that in?
Excellent video, The first scarf was knitted by an old lady in wimbledon named Begonia Pope & was so excited to work for the BBC she knitted up all the wool the costume designer sent (who knew nothing about knitting so sent a truck load) & when he & Tom Baker went to her little house Tom Baker says they couldn't get in because of the scarf
The scarf started out at 13 1/2 feet and as the series went on it got shorter starting from 12, 10 1/2, and then 10 feet. Then it had a couple of growth spurts and went to 17 feet then to 20 feet. The last scarf Baker had was a burgandy scarf that was 20 feet but by the end of his run it had been stretched out to 24 feet.
Lol, 7:20, love the walking down the stairs action. I am just recently watching the Tom Baker series again, and I find them just Fantastically Brilliant! Though when Tom left, lots of people stopped watching it. It really sepeated the fans from the Hardcore fans! I will say now, I have followed The Doctor through all his regenerations, and I absolutely love the show!
Not to nit pick, but scarf in plural form is "Scarves." Um could you use the white script all through? The black is difficult to read on the small screen. Thanks! Excellent idea and great editing! :)
Yeah, he did, but that was only ONE of the scarves the Doctor had. He wore a good two or three throughout his seven year run as Four, so he still had a couple sitting around. Perhaps he even had another one of the same color sitting around.
I had my ex-mother in law knit me a scarf that looked much like the early years one that Tom wore before the 80s. I remember wearing it out for the first time several winters ago to a Subway resturant.
While in line a mother and her three younger kids looked at me and the mom said.
