@CynaRed gurl i hardly use dat brush nowadays, mostly 4 a lil detangling. i learned da conditioner tricks after a few fails lol but i shampoo weekly n may co-wash mid week if it feels too dry or dirty.

If you look at the pics at the end, they show me when I used a denman-like brush. And I really liked the turn out so I went and bought one :) .. How long have you been going natural?
You weren't brushing it right. You have to do it slowly and make the brush at an angle so the red rubber part is rubbing your hair. Then it has the chance to pull your curls together.
I think the codes apply to the number of rows on the brush. I believe the D3 has 7 rows, the D4 has 9 rows, etc. I saw them on the Denman website and Amazon. I plan on getting one tomorrow, but I will have to ask which one I should get.

the denman brush is not good for coarser types of hair, like coily or kinky-ier (lol) hair, 4 hair hair. It works well for 3 hair and under because the curls are looser.
i understand what your saying im a 4a/4b and i wouldn't dare use my denman for detangling but its works wonders for defining your curls with gel i love it

it works a lot btter when ur hair is loaded with conditioner, how often do u wash and do ur hair? too much manipulation could bother ur curls :)

I just got a paddle and a round brush yesterday, but wasn't sure on how to use them. Your video is really helpful
