  • There is something about Maiden.......something about time.I dont know how to explain it but maiden takes me to a place where the concept of time does not make sense anymore.

  • probably the purest sound of guitar ever...up the irons !

  • they should do some small time gigs with paul back in all the pubs they started in

  • @PoVerslaWe I don't f*ckin drink alcohol as heavy metal alone gives me the high that I need. Thanks for posting the historical Maiden pics with an awesome song!

  • @prettynoose8497 omg good for you!

  • Di Anno AWESOMEEEEEEEEEE

  • great albums, but bruce and 666 opened up the world for them, dianno lost his voice way back then

  • very rare maiden pics!!! great!

  • up the irons!

  • Paul di' anno is so awesome! UP THE IRONS!! forever\ m\/

  • One of my favourites songs!!! UP THE IRONS!!!

  • I can't help thinking about this song when someone talks me about earlier Maiden and Dianno, Prodigal Son is, to me, the best "ballad" of Maiden. And the lyrics are so deep it makes me feel i'm not the only one to be cursed,

I'm gonna have a good beer and listen to it all day long I think !!

  • Try listening to this song with some alcohol in your veins while staring at the full moon...

  • @hell0ween2099

Funnily enough...I did just that with Jack Daniels ...... well, except for the moon.

Maiden is the best!! Their first two albums had a distinct haunting style that I really miss.

  • @pctechnet my brother,i use to like the song a lot,but when i did that very own personal little ritual i fell in love with it,this song has a truly existencial meaning for me in ways no one can understand.

  • @hell0ween2099 I'm dong that right now. Seeing your comment was cement to the glue

  • Adrian's solo on this gets me every time i hear it.....really emotive & cool use of the flanger. Ty for posting this

  • Magnifique !!

  • dont know, why Steve doesnt want to play Prodigal son live.......its beautiful song and I like it. Its not old or sentimental

  • Martin Birch aced the production on this 2nd album....those solo's are sublime.

  • Derek Riggs and Stevie are the best people in the world

  • there's just something about these first two albums..

  • Up the Irons !

    French fan

  • Steve Harris is such a talented guy ... he slips through time mostly unnoticed, or so it seems. :/

  • great guitar .... great song

    up the irons !!!

  • A beautiful sublime song that takes the listener to another realm and another time. This song showed how Maiden could bring it down a notch and still deliver the same drive and strength that is their hallmark sound.

  • Up the Irons! Ohio
