This is perfect, this is exactly suited to what I'm trying to do with my burgers, just a simple recipe and I'm gonna try this tonight since I've got the beef out. I have just one question though? What does the water do? I watched a few other videos on burger making but I don't think I remember them mentioning to add some water.

Hi, yeah, sometimes I use fried onions too, sometimes just plain uncooked onions, just depends on what I feel like at the time. With toppings I just like to keep it simple, as whats important to me is just the flavour of the beef, so just stick to plain old mustard in one burger and just ketchup in another. I tend not to heat the burger buns as I like them soft. One thing that's a must for me in a good burg is cheese. Jack or Cheddar is great.

hey, thanks for the recipe. can you recommend a good topping combination? what I like to do btw is fry some onion rings and small gherkins in the fat of the burger meat and use them as a topping along with ketchup, mustard, salad and tomato slices. do you treat the burger buns, like heating them up in the oven or something?
