Those movers should never have gone over that rickety old covered bridge in such a heavy vehicle like that. The truck was way over the bridge's weight limit. It was too heavy, making it a very dangerous idea for them to continue across and hope that that dilapidated bridge would support the weight of their truck. They should have gone another way.
What's the problem? All they have to do is swing around and go back the way they came. But this time they need to turn right where the old Holland Shed barn used to be then about five miles before the road dead ends veer left and follow the railroad tracks straight in to a town called Beaver Mills.
I used to drive a truck for a moving company, I really can relate to these two guys' frustration. I can't tell you how many times I wished that there had been a nearby pond for me to throw the customer's furniture into. Great clip.
I love this. My mother's Aunt used to own some property across this bridge. Every year we would camp there and my parents would drive as slow as possible over the bridge and joke about it colapsing. Evil then (I was 5 when the movie came out) but funny now. It's the Upper Falls Covered Bridge.
Ahahah, it's the same guy who was the crook in Dumb and Dumber.
