  • @DillonSinghBasi same thecnique just differnet hands

  • wow thanks i just started tennis bought a racket for 110 euro :p and playing with my friend he started also this helped me alot.

"this one is in my fav :D"

  • make sense

  • what about the two-hand backhand slice?

  • @loopz18 does not existis (y)

  • should have shown some short rally also

  • hahaaha funny. I didnt know that good backhands had straight left arms. ALWAYS KEEP THE LEFT ELBOW BENT!!!!!!!

  • @Bigballer112192 the left arm is supposed to stay extended.

  • @Bigballer112192 the reason why some players have bent elbow is because they need power, most WTA players have bent elbow, ATP players usually have striaght arms.

  • @Bigballer112192 always? throughout the swing? lol

  • he's HOT.

  • If you want to become a GREAT MATCH PLAYER go to my channel ( 2knowfun2 ) and watch two videos: World class tennis (part1/2) and (part2/2) . My two videos will teach you how to become a great match player... my two tennis videos have covered pretty much everything that is important in tennis...from "how to hit high quality groundstrokes" to "match play"... Everything important about tennis is compressed in my two tennis videos... Watch and become a Great match player

  • really helped,

    thnx a lot

  • ur slices are ust like kens

  • where is the one handed Backhand ?!!

  • ugh

  • Thank you

  • cool

  • thank you!

  • thnx man, video really helped!

  • who hits a topspin backhand with a continental grip?

  • Makes a whole lot of sense, especially with the slice backhand follow-through. Now I have to go practice against the wall. My problem is timing (getting old & slow!).

  • i like your backhand. thanks.

  • lovely instruction, easy to understand , involving all important points......i am just getting a bit confused about the distance of the arms to the body....some players (women mostly) have their arms very close to body others making contacts to ball while having arms more away from body....can t figure what s better

  • You know nothing about tennis, go back to practice and study some biomechanics!

  • my problem is my beer gut. if someone puts a drop shot over, the point is theirs.

  • you forgot the most graceful shot in the game, and the most powerful version of the backhand

    The Single Handed Backhand

i wanted it, i stuck to it a bit, and now i can hit them pretty cleanly. such a sick shot to pull off

  • Yes but not good for fast serves. Trust me. Also the two handed is a lot more suited to a baseline game.

  • u make it look real easy i gotta try it out 2moorow

  • Backhand is my weakest shot no matter how much I practice..

  • thats funny, my forehand is by far my most powerful shot, but as far as technique and proper execution, my backhand is more refined.

  • My backhand has got much much better since I first started...You just have to have right form...

  • When he would do it, it would cause the ball to float across the net, so maybe I'm probably just an idiot who looked solely at the position of the racket and not how the ball traveled...The ball didn't curve I remember now, so I'm wrong...Sorry...

  • Well I think that the backhand slice is just to defends vs strong hits without tiring yourself too much.

  • nice video. 5 outta 5 :D

  • i have the same racket

  • really good explanation... gonna give this a try! thanks bro

  • Thanks...I guess it's not recommended to do a two handed backhand slice then?...

  • two handed slice? im afraid thats not an actuall stroke. more less just a bad habit. a two handed back hand slice is mainly used by people with weak arms. im not saying you have one, but 2 handed slice limits your power.

  • I know...I don't do that now...I thought it was legitimate before but not now...However, there was this one senior on our team who did it last year...And he was the best player on the team...80 mph serves, a fast backhand, and of course an accurate forehand, but he used a two handed back handed slice here and there and he did it WELL!...But I've only been playing for two and a half years, so what do I know...

  • good video since i watched this i can do brilliant backhands after practice thanks alot!!

  • Nice video, very useful!

  • thanks man..
