Wow, who took that footage? That was Buddy Guy's original Checker Board-a very small club but always exciting to play in. And with extra action in the back room! i got to play (harp) there often way back when-Dizz ran the jams, Johnny WInter, Billy Branch, Johnny Drummer, and many others would come in and jam. Woody, Dizz' brother played the wildest blues beat you ever did hear. Monday afternoon right through the night. Blue Monday. It was a ball back then.
You can tell Mick was in love being next to ol Muddy. I bet any true rock star would be star struck to be next to one of the men that wrote most every rock song to be.
This is awesome!....check it out at 2:40 when Ronnie Wood takes a swig on the Whisky bottle. The Checkerboard was my favorite blues clubs when I lived in Chicago (20 yrs ago) and was there when the Stones happened to drop by one night.
Does anyone know the name of the left-handed guitar player? I remember seeing him a few times at the Checkerboard.
Que maravilha ! E 25 anos depois ou mais no show para o filme shine a ligth eles todos tocam juntos novamente esta música mas sem o muddy .vale conferir .emocionante!

this is awesome...especially at about 2:40 Ronnie Wood when takes a swig. The Checkerboard was one of my FAVORITE clubs.
Anyone know the name of the thin left-handed guitar player? I've seen him before at the Checkerboard and I can't remember his name.

Great Vid! It's nice to see Mick and Keith paying homage to the greatest. If there weren't blues, they'd be no Stones.
