i know what you mean about stella out of a can a mean i drink cans sometimes but i got this foriegn can a stella once and it put me off cans and a agree with you 100% about carling they should stop making it in my opinion.
Hey man cool review. I also have a soft spot for Stella. Unfortunately I drank so god damn much of it a month back and had the worst hang over ever. Now whenever I have a sip of this stuff it takes me back to that dreadful time. I am going to take a break from old Stella.
Have you tried DAB beer? I know you're a quebecois. You can get it at the Liquor store. Its a poor mans beer from Dortmunder Germany but it taste pretty decent for the price. Check it out sometime.
Yes, I have had DAB and it's a really decent drop. It's somewhere in the vault of my video clips waiting to be edited and uploaded, but since I started two new websites in December it may be some time before I get around to it!
I like Stella but I know a lot of people who don't like it. It seems to get a lot of mixed reviews on the net. Yes the cans are a lot better in my opinion. No skunk!
I personally cannot stand stella. Your reviews are good. But this beer I find very harsh and leaves a nasty afer-taste.....and hangover!! They don't call it wife-beater for nothing. :D
Overcome your fear of the green bottles, my friend, and consider how much cardboard is saved when they produce the handy carry packs. Or try it in tins. But it tastes best in the glass.
Why would anyone wanna overcome there fear of green bottles. Beer is put in green bottles to try to portray the idea of a premium beer and thats the only reason. Stella gets a skunky taste because of the amount of hops and light coming in contact with the terrible green bottles. When someone pours it in a glass and says it has a great smell their fucked. It smells like skunk and tastes even worse
nice vid tho i luv stella

I've had some pretty skunky cans of Stella in my time. Normally after a night at the pub when that's all I could find on the way home.

It's probably over-rated, but I find this is a borderline beer. Between crap and quality beer comes things like Stella.

this is one of those Euro Lagers I wanna try but can't because of this fear I have of green bottles.
Now... if they start packaging it like they do Pilsner Urquel (with the box covering the bottles completely) I'd snatch it up in shizzecond.
