  • this just proves there all wrong really

  • also the tongues ceasing and knowledge stopping is easily resolved.

  • @j919or said "also the tongues ceasing and knowledge stopping is easily resolved."

In your opinion. If you say tongues is not for today, then thousands and thousands of AOG, Foursquare, UPC, and other churches will disagree with you. You're still not getting the point. It doesn't matter what you think is the correct interpretation - the point is there are plenty of christians who will disagree with you on that point. God failed to make His Word clear enough to prevent this christian chaos.

  • Yes Christians misinterpret the bible and since churches are competitive for members they each wanna be right.

I could refute the Mk 16 interpretation and the Nicolatans drivel, if anyone cares.

  • ""By what scriptural basis do you say this?""

John 3. 16 says believe in Him...not believe the right doctrines about him.

    Him=Jesus=Creator of the universe.John 1

  • Ok time for me to school you. I never said God works in mysterious ways so this is the logical fallacy of the strawman argument.

Its easy to say stuff when no one challenges you, but when you're challenged all you rhetoric is easily shown to be drivel.

  • I really fail to see the point of this video. Its divisive and pointless and merely points out the difference between religion and the reality of the gospel message. The two are not necessarily the same thing.

Yes religion brings out the worst in people but then again so does football or race or territory. You are merely pointing out the fault of man's inherent sin nature and the reason we all need to be saved...even from religion itself.

  • Bottom line is that God is working a good work in all of us desp[ite us, REGARDLESS of the remaining confusion.

Praise God for that work and find unity.

  • @j919or What if your denomination is wrong and you go to hell? What if it's true, as some sects claim, that believers must be baptised in the name of Jesus ONLY, and not in the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit?

If their doctrine turns out to be correct, then the rest of us are going to hell because we weren't saved correctly. What about "once saved always saved" - what if they're wrong? Millions of eternal souls are at stake if you believe the wrong doctrine, so how can you tell whos right?

  • @Discern4 no one goes to hell for following in the wrong denomination...they go to hell for not knowing Jesus and not being born again into the image and likeness of father Jesus. Many are called but few are chosen. Most do not want to give up their life and surrender it to the will of Jesus...they are too comfortable in their life-style and will not do anything that will endanger that and keep father Jesus at arms length.

Don't get caught up in all that denomination rubbish!

  • @NeilAnthony69 said "no one goes to hell for following in the wrong denomination...they go to hell for not knowing Jesus and not being born again"

How do you know? What makes your doctrine more correct than others? A number of christian denominations would disagree with your version of salvation. They can also quote scripture to support their beliefs - so what makes you so sure yours is the right interpretation and theirs is wrong?

The problem lies at the source: God failed to make it clear.

  • @Discern4 How do I know? Jesus said so...plain and simple. I don't have a doctrine. I have the bible and its probably the same one as you have or not far from it, anyway...

Haven't you read that scripture is not for private interpretation? Yes there are a lot of people out there claiming lots of things and at the end of the day I trust no man. So what I am saying is...Don't trust me...trust the bible and ask Jesus to reveal its meaning to you as you read it and stop listening to churchianity.

  • @NeilAnthony69 You can't be serious.

  • @Discern4 Yes I'm perfectly serious...its not a matter to take lightly, your whole eternity depends on it!

  • @Discern4 ""if your denomination is wrong ""

I don t have a denomination and neither did the thief next to Jesus on the cross. He went to heaven and only needed to ask. It has little to do with believing doctrine but rather believing in/entrusting urself to the creator of the universe.

  • @j919or said "It has little to do with believing doctrine but rather believing in/entrusting urself to the creator of the universe."

Says who? By what scriptural basis do you say this? That's just your own interpretation, whereas many christians would disagree. They'll say the thief was an exceptional circumstance. If you ignore doctrine and just "entrust yourself to the Creator", then that could mean Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Jews and Muslims are all correct and will all be in heaven.

  • @j919or You're basically just repeating the old lame ass "god works in mysterious ways" crap. It's a big write-off for everything.

  • @Nathan173AB Try saying something logical and rational.

  • @j919or Actually I did. I don't expect someone like you to recognize what "logical and rational" actually is though. Hint: Saying that god works in mysterious ways and to just go along with it is definitely neither logical nor rational.

  • 3. Romans 14 says that some consider one day above another and some consider all days alike. WHat matters is that u celebrate or dont celebrate as unto the Lord.

  • The "tongue" scripture means speaking Greek, Latin, and other languages specific for its time and place to try and gain converts who spoke those languages.

  • @jaymthegenius Sure it does.

  • Holy Crap this is awesome!!!!

  • I would like to participate in the Xbox LAN party "service"!

  • @hedleypanama lol yeah, must be a special ministry: gaming for Jesus.

  • All Christians are equal. But some are more equal than others.

  • XBox and LAN Party - so funny.

  • All the christians are correct. just some of them believe diffrent things.

  • So, why do Christians have so many different denominations, and sects there of, if the Bible is the inerrant word of God ? Yet, they condemn non-believers for not buying into what they themselves can't agree on . Maybe they should get their mythological stories straight, before they try to convert others . Who was the author of such confusion ?

  • @00AngelDog00 satan is the author of confusion

  • @sherra1998 My point, exactly .

  • @00AngelDog00 You should know that it was GOD himself...and a few thousand years of copying and translation, all inerrant of course.

  • @00AngelDog00 ""they themselves can't agree on ""

satan sows confusion. let me clear up some things for those that are interested

    1. Mark 16 is a mistinterpretation. And it was not in the best MSS so its questionable whether it was part of the NT. Even if it was it is not saying that all believers would have all or any of the signs. Those absolutes are assumed not stated.

    2. Tongues will cease (passive tense) on their own and knowledge will be stopped by the perfect state (active)

  • It's almost as if it's all nonsense so everyone reads it differently.... You'd think if there was a God he would have foreseen all the confusion and been a little more clear on exactly what he wanted and how he wanted it done.
