for you people talking about the 40 yard dash and times and things of that nature...the 40 is a test of power. you dont reach top speed untill around 40-60 yards. the 1st 30 yards are a drive phase that is all power and maintianing lead. usain bolt has a bad start. he admits it in videos too... but top speed isnt reached untill after the drive phase. thats why vernon davis can run in 4.3's and probably beat bolts time weighing 50lbs more, but wouldnt dare beat him in the 100

I used the correct formula and got a 4.319 which is still incredibly fast i got the numbers off his world record 100m time. I took his first 40 yards. I dont know where i read 4.55 from though.
