Sorry, force of habit. When I heard that Status Quo was in and Kaba and Jabba was in the bottom, I was in shock, but I had missed their performance, so I was thinking that if they gave an amazing performance like Kaba and Jabba did, I would've been accepting. I was pissed when I finally saw it because personally, I thought it was the worst performance of the season. The dancing was lame, the breaking and stunts were eye sores and if you listen to the parts they chose, they chose easy parts.

you know abandel, you are right to an extent. They have simalarities to kaba. But that still doesnt make anything better. I know its not their fault, but the producers cheated america. They counted the votes and then combined it to the votes they previously recieved. I was happy that someone manage to never be in the bottom, but it makes me mad knowing that producers were so desperate that they fixed it. Look up the blog on mtv, someone spills the beans. Wouldnt you feel the same way?
I do think it's wrong to attempt to do that to a crew, like JabbaWockeeZ would've probably had a clean sweep of the competition, but due to Status Crap being in the top 3, the producers were forced to put Jabba in the bottom to ensure Status Crap's safety (which annoys me since they gave like the worst performance of the entire season). At least this time SoReal actually deserves to be in the finale.

Watch their dances, they do a lot of gliding, leg movements, the three bboys almost always do some kind of flip or breaking. Who gives a crap if they can't do tricks? Fanny Pak doesn't do tricks either, both crews (like Kaba Modern) show that tricks aren't needed to have a great performance. They didn't copy Fanny Pak, this performance is pretty theatrical also.
Who cares if they can't dance aggressively? A similarity they share with Kaba is that both are very smooth with their styles. SoReal is shows the sensual (but not sexual) side of hiphop dancing which is something this show hasn't seen. They're hardly anything like Kaba Modern. They're the 2nd generation of SoReal, how could they be a carbon copy of anyone if they weren't even the ones who started the group? It annoys me that people are such haters, making up stupid excuses to bash on SoReal.
You're wrong, if you've compared SRC with SC you'd know what advantages SRC has. They have tutting, krumping, popping&locking. While SC only bboys and when they're not bboying, they're making a horrible attempt at true dancing. SoReal Cru is redundant? How long as SoReal been around because Kaba Modern has been around since like 1992. I know that this SoReal is the 2nd generation, so they should be at least a few years old.
The 6 crewing members of Kaba Modern that participated were Japanese, Chinese and Korean, but if you know Tagalog, you should be able to identify where Kaba Modern got their name from. The moment my friend said Kaba Modern, I said Kababyan! Kaba Modern emerged from a Filipino culture association.

At first, they just did urban street dance, I watched their performance at Vibe 6 and they seriously reminded me of JabbaWockeeZ. Ben Chung from Jabba was actually in Kaba Modern at one point. It wasn't until a few years ago (I believe) that Kaba started focusing on isolations. From the several performances I've seen, they're mostly about isos, bboying, and popping and locking.

you probably only watch abdc and not the work that these crews do outside of this show. if you look at the world of dance tour 08 you'll see the move that soreal "copied", even though they performed that move before the show even took place. all these crews represent a different style and work hard, but people don't see that becuase stupid mtv made this a regional battle as opposed to a dance battle.

You can not make a regular move look hard it looks like a move you have seen before. As a dancer, their moves have been done before and done better. So I would rather vote for creative moves and creative bboying then redundant dance moves ur average good dancer could pick-up. TO be honest and not a hater I feel the girl actually hold this team back because the really show no diversity in their dancing ability. SRC just never gave me chills in any of their performances, like other crews did.

I've broken down a lot of Kaba Modern's moves and truthfully, they're not really hard to do, it's just the way they execute it and incorporate it that makes it look difficult.
As a dancer, I've never seen a group dance like them so I was excited to see a group bring a totally different way of dancing.
Hopefully they'll win even if they truly didn;t deserve it over a few other crews that depated early due to bad judging. But I'm voting for SoReal Cru now!! I can't stand Super Crew.

Good dancing, but I have a few critiques of this one -
a) the very first move - with the guys in the back...that's been done before by the Jabbas.
b) the mirrors and brooms were very gimicky. I know it was a throwback to the movie but the props owned them this time.
c)Andrew getting solos every time is annoying. Let the other crew members shine.
d) that slow motion ticker move was SO SO SO sloppy!

a)The guys in the back are simply an added effect, i didn't even notice it the first time i looked at it. Also a lot of moves in season 2 were done in some extent in season 1,
Nitpicking like this makes you seem very bias.
b)If you know that the mirrors were supposed to be gimicky then why would you make a critique of it being gimicky. Once again bias, and imo they did a great job with the props...

auditions- pretty good
week 1- sloppy
week 2- pretty good
week 3- not the worst of the night but not the best
week 4- one of there best performances
week 5- reminded me nothing of the Janet Jackson song
week 6- they did a better job than supercr3w

all the crews are good, and should all be given the same chance at winning. This happened TWICE. btw, "status crap" was good, I voted for them a lot. What was so bad about them? they did a bad week two performance?

Sorry, force of habit. When I heard that Status Quo was in and Kaba and Jabba was in the bottom, I was in shock, but I had missed their performance, so I was thinking that if they gave an amazing performance like Kaba and Jabba did, I would've been accepting. I was pissed when I finally saw it because personally, I thought it was the worst performance of the season. The dancing was lame, the breaking and stunts were eye sores and if you listen to the parts they chose, they chose easy parts.

yeah. true. i loved kaba last year i thought it should of been them and jabbawockeez. i mean status quo had an amazing story of being bums and all that. but when it came down to it jabbawockeez deserved it! status quo was really nothing special to me lol... i wonder where they are now? hm...

Exactly, we hear nothing from them, while it's Kaba and Jabba who are touring and teaching people across the US how to dance they way they do.
I would've preferred Kaba to win last season actually, but oh well, Jabba is still amazing.

you know abandel, you are right to an extent. They have simalarities to kaba. But that still doesnt make anything better. I know its not their fault, but the producers cheated america. They counted the votes and then combined it to the votes they previously recieved. I was happy that someone manage to never be in the bottom, but it makes me mad knowing that producers were so desperate that they fixed it. Look up the blog on mtv, someone spills the beans. Wouldnt you feel the same way?

I do think it's wrong to attempt to do that to a crew, like JabbaWockeeZ would've probably had a clean sweep of the competition, but due to Status Crap being in the top 3, the producers were forced to put Jabba in the bottom to ensure Status Crap's safety (which annoys me since they gave like the worst performance of the entire season). At least this time SoReal actually deserves to be in the finale.

they rely solely on their hands throughout the season, face it. They cantt dance agressive and they cant do tricks. They copied fanny pak once they got eliminated by becoming VERY theatrical, but said it was a different side to their crew, even calling their style UNIVERSAL. Uh, Soreal, Kaba modern, who you guys are trying to be could dance agressive, be theatrical, and do tricks. This carbon copy of kaba annoys me so much with their attitude and they werent really safe, it was total votes

Watch their dances, they do a lot of gliding, leg movements, the three bboys almost always do some kind of flip or breaking. Who gives a crap if they can't do tricks? Fanny Pak doesn't do tricks either, both crews (like Kaba Modern) show that tricks aren't needed to have a great performance. They didn't copy Fanny Pak, this performance is pretty theatrical also.

Who cares if they can't dance aggressively? A similarity they share with Kaba is that both are very smooth with their styles. SoReal is shows the sensual (but not sexual) side of hiphop dancing which is something this show hasn't seen. They're hardly anything like Kaba Modern. They're the 2nd generation of SoReal, how could they be a carbon copy of anyone if they weren't even the ones who started the group? It annoys me that people are such haters, making up stupid excuses to bash on SoReal.

You're wrong, if you've compared SRC with SC you'd know what advantages SRC has. They have tutting, krumping, popping&locking. While SC only bboys and when they're not bboying, they're making a horrible attempt at true dancing. SoReal Cru is redundant? Shit, Super Crew just flares, spins, more flares, and more spins, wow... creative indeed.

Filipinos are Asian if you were referring to us as Pacific Islander. I think the three bboys in SoReal are all Vietnamese because the two brothers don't really look as Filipino either. I heard Jackie was part Chinese, her last name sounds like it.
Anyways, it is stupid the excuses people are coming up with. SoReal was NOT the only all Asian crew this season, Boogie Bots was all Asian (Filipino to be more exact). Half of Super Cr3w, Supreme Soul and Phresh Select are Asian also.

That's weird, I mean for a bit I'd mark Pacific Islander, but in reality we are Asians, just like how Indonesians, people from Singapore (what are they called?) and Japanese are Asians. Pacific Islander refers to Oceania, to be more specific: Polynesia (e.g. Hawai'i, Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti, New Zealand), Micronesia (Marshall Island, Fiji), and Melanesia (uh Papua New Guinea? lol).
But yeah, I live in Hawai'i and we all consider ourselves Filipino.

I defend SoReal (well, I'd defend Super Cr3w and Fanny Pak also). I love all three, but SoReal's been my pick from the start. I've been right all season about who gets eliminated and dammit I am NOT going to be wrong for the first time when it comes to the final decision XD

How long as SoReal been around because Kaba Modern has been around since like 1992. I know that this SoReal is the 2nd generation, so they should be at least a few years old.
The 6 crewing members of Kaba Modern that participated were Japanese, Chinese and Korean, but if you know Tagalog, you should be able to identify where Kaba Modern got their name from. The moment my friend said Kaba Modern, I said Kababyan! Kaba Modern emerged from a Filipino culture association.

At first, they just did urban street dance, I watched their performance at Vibe 6 and they seriously reminded me of JabbaWockeeZ. Ben Chung from Jabba was actually in Kaba Modern at one point. It wasn't until a few years ago (I believe) that Kaba started focusing on isolations. From the several performances I've seen, they're mostly about isos, bboying, and popping and locking.

you probably only watch abdc and not the work that these crews do outside of this show. if you look at the world of dance tour 08 you'll see the move that soreal "copied", even though they performed that move before the show even took place. all these crews represent a different style and work hard, but people don't see that becuase stupid mtv made this a regional battle as opposed to a dance battle.

i believe soreal cru has a way with dancing regular dance moves and making it difficult somethin you dont usually see.
i think their choreography has been ON TOP this whole time
they DONT need to tell story on being creative to be on top. just look at every dance they do..

You can not make a regular move look hard it looks like a move you have seen before. As a dancer, their moves have been done before and done better. So I would rather vote for creative moves and creative bboying then redundant dance moves ur average good dancer could pick-up. TO be honest and not a hater I feel the girl actually hold this team back because the really show no diversity in their dancing ability. SRC just never gave me chills in any of their performances, like other crews did.

I've broken down a lot of Kaba Modern's moves and truthfully, they're not really hard to do, it's just the way they execute it and incorporate it that makes it look difficult.
As a dancer, I've never seen a group dance like them so I was excited to see a group bring a totally different way of dancing.
