I ended up here through DVInfo (newly joined). We have to use a Sony HDR-FX1 at my uni - and despite going into 3rd year this Sep. just started reading on cinematography. I'm sort of appalled we haven't been shown it in much depth recently. DVInfo seems like a great place to learn!
On my channel I have all films I've been involved with on - certainly out of the DVInfo users' leagues :O

Digital. Canon Xh-a1. No DOF filters either, just fully opened aperture and fully zoomed in.

This is very nice. Did you shoot 16 or 35? Or has this been processed (Because it looks like film, unless digital has really gotten that good)
