whoever was runnin the renegades was either late or weak on the throttle cuz they shoulda beat out the brute...i own a 650i and they're hella badass, but the renegades are faster...stock anyway
When you gear 15/36 do you loose a lot of bottom end? I already have a K&N filter could you tell me a good pipe (besides dasa) because every dealer down here where i live has never heard of that pipe for some reason. Thanks and by the way your quad is sick!
Thanks for the information, I have my parts set up to buy but before i buy them i have 2 more questions, I am hearing that if you get an intake and you get a little bit of dirt or water in it it will screw your engine over is that true? And have you ever had any problems with your quad scene you put those parts in? Thanks
The stock intake would let dirt or water before an aftermarket would, at least on the kfx450r, is that bad. But yeah, dirt or water would mess an engine up. No problems.
I don't ride mud, every now and then i'll go over a small puddle thats in my path but i usually just do normal driving, whats the difference between the 2 intakes?
Dasa is the shit!!! if your talking about the KFX or the LTR then Dasa, Procircut, FMF, and Vince and Hines are the best choices. if your looking for affordibility then look at DG and HMF.
kawi all the way, there the best by far

wow man lol that was quick aright do you think it would be a waste of time to put my bike up aginst a 2008 650 brute force i got a kfx 450r

Get a 15T (front sprocket) or don't race longer than 300' and you should be ok. The best gearing combo is 15/36 with a pipe and a filter.

As long as you get the Big 3 (pipe, intake, fuel controller) the gearing would actually feel stronger. ESR, Trinity, Nmotion are pretty good pipes.

So by putting an intake in am i taking a big risk at blowing my engine?
RedDawnn 3 years ago
No, if you are going to ride in mud or water keep the airbox...buy a FCI intake.

if both the kfx 450r and brute force were stock who do you think would win?
rappymania700 4 years ago
My kfx on these races was stock, except for the tires and the BF was a 665 built with hc pistons and cams.
rleojeda 4 years ago
what all does that brute force have done to it?
baggedz71 4 years ago
HC pistons, cams and nitrous...not use on those runs though.
