  • love this song

  • Such beauty

  • I always send this video to people that I love who are feeling down. Today I will send it to Aretha ...

  • brilliant!

  • THIS WOMAN IS WONDERFUL!!

  • I've loved Aretha my entire life (56 years) and I've finally decided this is my favorite Aretha song!!! Nothing else noplace can compare to her voice & these lyrics. Magnificent is an understatment.

  • That coat she's wearing at 1:36 is something I would love to have

  • To sing is to transmit a feeling.. Aretha Franklin can do that with her eyes covered... Tooo bad this merit is no longer present in the new musics/singers nowadays :(

  • Who can touch her??!!

  • Man, this is her best of all. She is the only Queen of Soul. These young girls out their get back in line of her, because you can't sing it like Aretha.

  • Excellent

    Grandma Mary

  • Quelle voix magnifique , tu es la reine de la soul , Dieu te garde Aretha !

  • Good music brought me here...

  • What an intro!

  • I know why Ms. Franklin is the queen of soul. God has blessed her with an incredible voice.

  • Aretha, girrrrrrrrrllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!

  • Remembering this one from Aretha from way back. Still sounding GREAT.

  • Heard this before Jumping The Broom

  • this lafy has a true gift from god

  • Beautiful, just Incredibly Beautiful!

  • "Back in the day" people made music because they loved to create such master pieces, rather than nowerdas when people just want to get rich from selling their bodies in music videos with auto tune and machines.

  • @DJSF2796 Bullshit. The real difference between music then and music now, is that music used to have integrity. You used to feel something when you listened to music. Whether you felt the rhythm or you felt the emotion, you fucking felt something inside.

  • This version is different from what she has on the album. I wonder why is that. Is this the extended version??

  • I LOVE this Aretha song....Probably my favorite Aretha Franklin joint..next to A Rose In Spanish Harlem...

  • какав само глас аретин, а тек обрада, боља од оргиналне верзије <3

  • какав само глас и обрада, боља од оргинала

  • Nothing beats the original by Simon & Garfunkel.

Art's voice just fits it better. But this is still great.

  • beautifull version but I want to hear the version of queen esther marrow. does anyone knows where could I find it?

  • Never was a big fan of Aretha but heard this today on the radio & WOW. This is fighting for the best version I have heard of this song next to the org & Roberta Flack's version!!!

  • what a song what a voice wow

  • Quelle belle voix ,je ne comprend le texte mais rien que la melodie en dit trop.

  • Quelle belle voix

  • I love the whole song but the intro is incredible...

  • @gutta1815 UR RITE,GUTTA,THAT ENTRO IS BANANAS!!! APRECIATE UR KEEN EAR,

  • @rockismsplashs though i know she plays the e. pno on this intro, what always goes into my head is mr. afroman billy preston.ev-er-y time.he has that kind of fly birdie melancholic sentiment.i started learning this song and stopped at 'i know that',because though i knew aretha played it.b.p.popped in my head.i played that intro over and over and over.never learned it.its too fascinating.oh i could knock this song out now but some else's rendition. not this one

  • @gutta1815 i dont know why in my head that organ sonds like billy preston.

  • the great godmother of soul

  • The arrangement on this song is incredible. Theres harmony, call and response and loads of contrast. One of the greatest recordings of the 1970's.

  • Donny Hathaway"s work

  • Movie ain't had nothing to do with it ... I've always loved this .

  • @nicoleray143 I knew the song before the movie and never paid it much attention when listening to my Aretha CD, after hearing it on the movie i went straight home to listen it to... it was played at the perfect scene in the movie which made me fall in love with...nice to know that someone shares the same sentiments.. :-)

  • was this in pursuit of happiness?

  • Wow! my goodness what a song sung by the Queen of songs

  • same here lol

  • GLEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The movie Jumping The Broom brought me here (-:

  • @nicoleray143 Same for me...lol!

  • @nicoleray143 thank you i just sitting here thinken of wat movie i heard this song in

  • @nicoleray143 me to, the movie's on again & i heard this & i was like i have to go look this up & hear Ms. Aretha sang!!!

  • @nicoleray143 Mee Too!!

  • @nicoleray143 hahahah, me too :)

  • Simple just "gifted". This songs give we chills all over and I just want to stop close my eyes and reflect. I don't know of any voice today that has that effect on me.

  • I luv it... so so much... God, tks for givin' us this amazing singer, just an angel of our Lord...

  • This is what it means to be "gifted"! I know many people who can sing, but this, moves me, inside, and very few people, have this ability!

Aretha was special then, she still is today, but when she was THIS performer, she could not be touched!

  • The beginning of this song still sends goosebumps down my arms. Aretha can do that to you.
