A lot of good commentary. I do disagree with McCain's "bomb Iran" song - it was in a public forum. Kind of like Reagan's radio announcement that we would begin bombing Russia in five minutes. I wish McCain would be man enough to say that he made poor judgment like the time when he said Chelsey Clinton's real father was Janet Reno. As you say, it was not a serious faux pas. Obama can't own up to his errors in judgment - if McCain would take the first step I think he could gain respect.
